As a content create myself (not tech) I appreciate all the great videos you've given us, and how much time and effort they take to create. Enjoy getting that time back, and thank you for all your helpful Umbraco videos that have helped me in the past. If you do come back to the channel (I really hope so!) then I'd really love to see some integration of Umbraco with Blazor, or in fact any other frontend/component framework. I think the new v14 APIs will make such frameworks very powerful. Thanks for all your work!

Stay away from Thunder Client, it used to be good but it is now a paywall mess. Basic essential features such as uploading a file is now a premium-only feature. Absolutely do not recommend it in its current state.

What a GigaChad. Not only you address the change to app router (some tutorials that feature next14 + contentful still use pages with getStatiProps). But also add lots of other useful info and don't focus on stuff that ppl who are here probably already know. Kudos!

HI Jon , Thaks very useful video , I have used your instructions to migrate to .net 8 standards . When doing migrations I have updated the config with "AllowConcurrentLogins" and "unattendedupgrade" params . Is these needs to be pushed to cloud or just for testing it locally?

Thanks for the video I was thinking migrating my all sites to 14 but after building one site on it and see how backoffice works slower than 13 and sometimes stuck that you need to refresh the page. After watching this video I will I think I will stay with 13.

Hi Jon! Thanx for all of your videos. I would like to access the rest api from c#, and not postman. Do you know of any guides that shows this, or have you considered making a video about it? Any way, I really appreciate all your work. I am not an Umbraco expert, but have to use it now and then at work, so your videos are very helpful to get more "hands on" feeling rather than just reading docs :)

I upgraded to version 13 from 12, but i didn't get this view where i have to apply db migrations... and after that when i try to upgrade to 14 i'm getting sql errors what say: Invalid column name: ApplicationType, ClientType, JsonWebKeySecret, Settings" do you have any idea what can be wrong? Also that i'm not upgrading packages for umbraco like yours. I'm with package "Umbraco.Cms"

Timing! I just started a job with umbraco and you've abandoned me, lol. I'm taking it personally! I'd like to see (and buy) an edition of your dotnet umbraco book for v.14 with with web comp and all the other stuff included. If that's somewhere you are thinking of spending your time. Otherwise, enjoy being dad and look after yourself.

The move to Web Components was right, I agree. If they'd chosen some awful mess like React I'd be sending hourly emails to my boss to drop umbraco. Looks like this is going on the right direction? thanks for the video and the rest of your content Jon.

Take the time you need for your kid and family, it is more important than cranking out video's. However, I still enjoy your book and the videos you've posted on Umbraco so I hope that in the future you might still find time to post some more on it. I'll keep following regardless. All the best and I hope you find a better equilibrium between work and private life.
