At measure 79 through about 90 the altos and trumpets played a bit too loud so you couldn’t really hear the baritone saxophone new solo part which should definitely be brought out more other than that sounds great( I played this song in middle school)

People please let the melody through the Euphonium solo was so silent

the conductor putting so much emphasis on the trombone part make me mad fsr

I guess I’ll be the first to comment. First of all, This group sounds and looks spectacular. You all are very professional and one of the best sounding bands I have ever heard (when it comes to a High School Wind Ensemble). My school’s Wind Ensemble had our MPA clinic this past weekend (I played the Percussion 2 part) and we played this piece so I am aware of how hard the piece is. We got a superior with A’s in all categories except a B rating in Tone. I think we sounded pretty good when we performed but you guys are really up there. In my opinion, You guys played this better and sounded more together than some other University Ensembles where they might try to bite more than they can chew sort-of thing. Also, Just another opinion based idea here, I really liked it when the University of Texas Wind Ensemble played this piece and they played the 1st movement a little slower than how you guys do it as well as rit… into fermatas and so on. Even without that, You guys sound amazing. I’m sure the judges were impressed and thrilled to hear you guys play a masterworks piece so well.
