Completely understand, I think EVs are a kind of "sports car" in that they are (at times) impractical. So many purchasers are not a "1 Vehicle" household when purchasing an EV. Thanks very much! I think I'd probably leave the regen-braking to highway driving only. At city speeds, I don't think I'd have it on. As far as the ride quality, I hear ya. @chaudcola thanks for the question! I'd say they are similar in that you could get completely comfortable in both right away. All your regular driver features are a familiar button away. They both drove like you would expect, swift, quiet and the rides are firm and a little bumpy but nothing drastic. Similar in ride to a performance vehicle. You should get to a showroom and take them for a drive🏁

@@TheTuesdayTestDrive VF8 has 2 different settings of regen. The lighter one is probably for people coming from ICE cars. The heavier one is a bit more "jumpy" when you remove your foot, but apparently still not heavy enough for some EV owners who like 1-pedal-driving. I quite like the VF8's ADAS - cruise-control on steroids, keep in lane, drive at 80kph OR follow car in front OR speed limit. ADAS tends to drive more smoothly than if I just drive with the pedals.

I chose it from a library I was allowed to use by a producer friend @buddahabusah. I didn't care for the way the audio rendered some episodes - my fault🏁

The california is a simpler car than the 599, the 599 is a real ferrari, a less produced gt with a v12 engine.

Yes, I am aware that, thanks for the additional info. However, you misinterpreted my explanation of the origin of the word scuderia (meaning stable or barn) in Italian race team names.

Well how you feel is how you feel sir, but I know what referenced to and why: I'm speaking to the name Scuderia Ferrari, not the horse logo. I realize Enzo never raced horses and the horse came from Baracca the yellow background represents the city of Modena etc... A lot of people think Scuderia means race team, but it doesn't. The remark I made was in reference to the choice made to use "Ferrari Stable" as the name of the race team. Before cars and motorbikes, horses were raced, hence why the race team is stylishly named Ferrari Stable and not something more anglofied like "Squadra Corsa Ferrari" or Ferrari Race Team. As well, I didn't mention the "gifting" of the logo to Enzo as there is no record of such a thing ever occurring as per the Baracca family - A note of contention for years.

Yeah, playback and actual rendering are not so equal in my ears either. Neither are the auto and manual Transmissions but that depends on your hands and feet as well as your ears!🏁

@@TheTuesdayTestDrive You comment about the tradition in the family meant a lot. My grandfather, uncles and Dad all had Cadillacs and my CT6 is my thirteenth.... so that makes me a brand loyalist. My 2019 CT6 is far better than my two 2017's because of the early model's transmission issues. It's a great looking car!
