Really like the CPC version. Nice use of both high res and colour. The DOS/Windows/GBA versions look like the designers did not know what to do with all the available extra colours.

In France this game was named "Blue Shadow", i didn't know this remake existed, maybe i'll get it.

They sure put a lot of love into animating Kaede's thicc thighs. Men of culture? I think so! Can't wait to see Atarihazure take on this one. "The work from 1990 is remade with enhanced graphics. 'Kaede' is a character that shows much cuteness, compared to the original."

The NES one is better in art

Original game is a lot better for many reasons. For example, in original game despite 8 bit graphics the design of characters were grounded and they looked like humans, while in this remake they look like goofy cartoony anime characters, which is kinda silly. Then in original game control of the character feels fast, easy and comfortable, while in remake the controls is unresponsive and your character is not reacting to your buttons pressing in time, which makes it uncomfortable to play. And if that was not enough then, while in original game levels were grounded and believable, in remake they are full of different bulky stuff, like robots, cranes and stuff like that, and in many places the level design were redesigned in such a way that it is confusing for you to understand, where to go. And biggest unacceptable reason for why remake simply sucks is because of the fact that you can't configure controls. Like, I'm playing on PC and I can't change controls to the one that would be comfortable to me. Sure, I could use gamepad but even then I have to use a software to allow this game to see my gamepad because I have old ACMAE GA-05 gamepad and this game doesn't simply see it. So I have to use Xbox controller emulator to emulate the controls of Xbox controller, to be able to play this game with gamepad. That is how f-d up this game is. And last but not least, there is no unlockable stuff in this game. Like, you beat the game and then what? Where is your reward for doing that? Like, maybe unlockable skins, some maybe extra game mode and stuff like that. Where is all of that? That's right, developers got so lazy that they couldn't even make a frigging reward for you to get after you beat the game. Sure, original game didn't had no unlockable stuff but this is not 90s and we are not limited by hardware, so why not add some extra reward is beyond my understanding. So yeah, remake of this game simply sucks.

Depise I born in 2003, in like 2015, someone installed this game in our School PCs. You got every child queuing for just play like 30 minutes this game. And I got so tired of waiting that decided to learn to pirate games just for play this masterpiece, like i did with Flash versión of TBOI and GTA 3 (my favorite GTA with the 4rth) Even in 2020 when I got money to but games on Steam for the first time (I only could played free-to-play games) one of the first games that I bought was UT Saga. Shame Epic decided to removed it from Steam... Shame fortnite killed Unreal Tournament...

Switch still looks better than the kg version. I just wish it had the dame HD as the Super mario Galaxy Port. That game looks phenomenal.

Genesis was the better port. Just kidding, never heard of it. Was it official? I always felt the subzero mythologies n64 graphics and style was a great transition between mk3 to mk4. There should have been a mk fighting game before mk4’s look that was like mythologies style. It has a lot of that mk 1 and mk2 gritty shaolin asían karate horror look. MK3 I found horrible compared to mk2 didn’t like the direction they took in a lot of things. Characters, music, sound effects, stage levels, fatalities, character sounds etc. they took away everything that made mk1 and mk2 great and made like a more urban, toon-like, mainstream style. Maybe it was change of developers or team who knows. But i loved the whole concept of early mk better.

Supposedly there’s a version for the SNES. A hack or home brew version.

maybe Dune 2 was the first game that I totally fell in love as a child. the PC version. it was so legendary and iconic. probably I copied it from a school pc with many floppy 5,25 disks and brought it to home.
