@@jamesdawson5905 that’s true re the GT2 however I already know that’s to spinny for me. Next time I’ll match the clubs so am testing more like with like. Good spot though. I didn’t find the QI10 goes, it felt great and you think you have smoked one and it just doesn’t fly off the face for me. Others love it but I gotta speak as I find them. Thanks for watching

Hi mate, I'm the guy in the video, I was very lucky I got given that driver but its defo a looker, its a nicklaus dual point if you were looking for one yours self, but honestly would take this info to the range I've never hit.my driver better !

They are great wedges. Personally I don’t think any of the big brands make bad clubs nowadays so it’s just about finding what works for you. But get down your local pro shop and try some out.

Hey I couldn’t get access to any Cobra drivers however when I have hit them in the past they are pretty good. Do you game a cobra driver? If so which one

Hey, thank for the feedback, by way of a comparison I did hit the Callaway max the other day and imo I found it spun to much (was spinning over 3000) and had to much draw bias in it for my eye and my game. That said we are all different and there’s no such thing as a bad these days so I’d advise people to go with what feels right for them. I personally preferred the TD to the max as it gave me more workability but really appreciate the comment and the feed back.

Hi Dean, you are correct you wouldn’t open the face right up as you would do on a green side shot. I would make sure you select the right club that will comfortably clear the lip on the bunker though. So my thought process is always what is the club needed to reach the green, then can I hit that club from that lie and clear the lip, if not then select a club where you can clear the lip and end up in a good position for your next shot. Too many people try and be a hero and end up staying in the trap.

Hey thanks for the comment. I’ve never used the gem training aid but my understanding is that it trains a release of the club face to help square it up at impact. My personal preference is for the club face to match the spine angle rather than be toe up, for me this is square.I would always look to fundamentals prior to using training aids, mainly grip in the case of a slicer. That said used correctly training aids can work. I use the straightaway by Leadbetter with some of my students to train the takeaway feel.
