I lost a chunk'a my childhood... Most of the textures are licensed through Poliigon. Some background models are purchased/licensed through ArtStation. Movie clip is transformative and used within fair use policy.

    That’s a solid donut! I would definitely work on the drips from the icing though they look a little bit forced

    how has been your experience with blender? and will you recommend it over other mainstream options?

      It’s a great entry level program to at least learn the basics for free. I think it’s a good jumping off point but I haven’t messed with anything else other than Swift 3D 20+ years ago. I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to learn the fundamentals.

    What phone did you use to capture these ? Polycam is pretty impressive, it blows my mind :o

      I used an iPhone 13 Pro for some. It's great because it has lidar to capture some pretty decent quality room images like the parking garage stairwell in the back. Great thing is there's a photo mode that gives you even more quality than lidar on objects which I used for about 80% of the objects here and you can do that on any phone with a half-way decent camera. Even if it's low quality, you can get more photos closer up to get that detail. Check out the Polycam app, it's free to use (subscription for more renders but they let you earn free tokens, etc).
