Oh my I was afraid of that 😫. I'm currently stuck on room 75 unable to beat a Lenna and Delvin team. Lenna of course has Archangel abilities and they mind meld so Delvin can also use the Lenna's moves. This train is really pushing me to learn all sorts of new strategies to win but it keeps beating me down.

That’s true. I just barely managed to make it to room 104 before getting beat. I’m close to max level. Granted I know nothing about team composition or anything but still

What is the Max level anyway? My team is around 150 right now. To be fair to myself I am playing with self imposed restrictions like using no items during battles and playing on Skynet level AI 😅. I really want to learn the battle system to its fullest. By learn I mean stealing from the AI because their combinations are beating me down endlessly.

Max level is 200, and yeah. I’m definitely struggling because I’m trying to play as easy as possible and I’m refusing to change my current team

Oh you can ignore it 😅. At the time I was running into a lot of Yubel players using the Iblee lock, it got really annoying for me. So it's there to get rid of Iblee. Iblee is banned now so there is no need for it.

In this current Tenpai meta, no. My latest pure Volcanic deck would be better (Still a deck you need to master). This deck is more for fun right now. Plus the Dogmatika side uses a lot of URs.

I haven't used this deck since I made the video which is a long 5 months ago so it's very outdated, but if you know what you are doing I can estimate it making it to platinum 4 till you start really struggling. Again this was more a fun deck I wanted to play and experiment with at the time. My Pure volcanic deck which I showcased the other day, I kept bouncing between diamond 1 and 2 because of bad luck But it will get you up there, unless you get a bad draw against Tenpai (Tenpai match ups are always coin flips anyway😑). Or you run into too many Centur-ion decks which that deck struggles most with because.

@@SamerHamadi-bk4cs Yes you got it and no problem. It plays mainly without it's extra deck. Linkuriboh and S:P little knight are your main supports and everything else is up to your preference and play style. Of course the video will showcase 😁.

Well this particular game is pretty simple. Play your Pokemon, give them energy needed to attack. Get 3 kills or clear opponent's field to win. Literally that is all. Wish I could explain Yugioh with 2 lines of text 😅. I can't help with baseball or American Football sadly. Those are forever mysteries to me.

English is not my first language so I want to apologise first. And this is just me complaining because I am not having fun in the meta. It kinda make your let your starting hand decide you win or lose instantly( I mean it’s a card game, of course it’s gonna be this way) but tenpai kinda take this to an extreme level, it’s like “haha I got psy ash infinite impermanence and a funny red dragon, I guess I win” I would describe the match up as we simply flip a coin but tenpai has a 60%win rate. You may say “yugioh recently end the game in 2-3turns too” but usually you had more option and more route base on which card you activate at what timing, now it become so straight forward(idk if I describe it in a correct way), now most of my friends just play 60gs because they feel like they could win this match up which appears so many time recently. And a tier2 deck which dies instantly eating >=2 hand trap is struggling so much more in this meta. You could argue tenpai needs to pull out a great play to execute the opponent but I swear those are very rare cases. I’m yapping because I start losing to my friend which is a new player playing tenpai, he could still kill me with so many misplay kinda make me hate this deck.

@wskywonder1681 I agree with all you said. The only good thing is that the duels go by quickly. I can’t even call Tenpai strong. It is a deck that steals wins. It’s funny, there are many decks that do the same thing but Tenpai for some reason got most popular and is taking over the game. The game has had worse but it really is a boring deck to duel against.

I hear you 😔. Trust me i've been looking at Temple of the king for a while. It's just those valuable SR points stopping me from experimenting with it. Believe me i've been playing the deck quite a bit along with Volcanics for the past few days and when the deck work, oh my gosh they are unstoppable. But the 1 card starter meta is just rough. The new decks are basically unfair with how much gas they have, when Altergeist is struggling get that hand that doesn't end with only Hextia and a dream. This is literally my favourite deck and it deserves better. Not the sadness we feel when cards like Sangen Summoning is made, yet the word "Altergeist" can't be placed before "Personal Spoofing" 😭.

@CasualKeem and trust me when I said I tried like everything. Even I run 2 called by the grave and 1 crossout and still got Bystialed, Ashed, Imperm on Mario every freaking second ( they are so scared of Mario combo and I can't blame them = negates like a freaking Judgment), Maxxed C obviously. I took out one for one because Ash hurts like damn. I tried double pot ( extr + desire) deeply regret that. It's inconsistent plus I banished multiple times all my Hextia and Adminia plus with desires they see what I choose. PLUS I need my extra deck. I had to took out my Goddess (used her for BorrelEnd, Chaos Angel, Noir, Raidraptors) because of freaking Unicorn just to add a second Adminia. Speechless and Cowturion should get hit too with the new banlist coming. Well you should try Temple. Maybe you are more lucky

@@meofficial7210 That's honestly why I hesitate to try temple, because my luck is just awful 😅. I'm forced to build and experiment trying my best to minimize luck. I'm playing around with "Small World" as a replacement for "One for one" because at least when that card gets ashed it's before you actually sacrifice anything. I pretty much removed my pot of Prosperity. It was a nice card but I always struggled with the extra deck cards to toss. "Speechless and Cowturion" 🤣. That got a laugh out of me.

@CasualKeem ok I hear you about Small world but still to banish 2 cards idk that's will be so mathmech of us. I'll have to run veilers which I hate cause Imperm gets around tactics. I mean I get Calamity is banned but they should ban Crimson as well and synchro like normal people do.

@@meofficial7210 Small world works well with Altergeist since they all search each other. So you can chose any two to banish that you really didn’t need in order to fix a bricked hand. I have nothing against Centur-ion, I like facing them the most out if the too decks. I will agree Crimson dragon really did make these Synchros less special. I remember a time where one worked hard to get out powerful card.

im a branded player and sanctifire is suposed to summon albaz plus an extra deck target to fusion summon into a mirror jade by effect of Fallan of Albaz but there are so many better things you can do with that card like summoning mirrorjade 3 times on enemy turn, summoning the omni negate, and puppet locking is obviously best because it makes the opponent scoop so you dont lose on time.

At the time it could make it but barely It’s a tough grind depending how lucky you are with your match ups, Tearlaments being the toughest.

@@CasualKeem quick play monster reborn interrupt open grave yard plays and can also always reborn altergiest depending how you're board is looking. I have been playing it with geist and it has not disappointed me yet

What is altergeist win con? Every time I've gone against the deck yeah it gets it's link 3 out but I've never loss to it.

It’s a control deck. You are basically interrupting your opponent constantly to gain full control of the field, chipping away at their life points. Or you get to the link 4s and push for game.

Answering in order I assume you mean Behemoth king. never considered him. Seems fun but bricky on first glance and not really hard to get rid of since it won’t get protection from Dream tower. But you can tell me your success rate with it. Mound of the bound field spell, i just never crafted one 😅. I do want to use it. I did try Gizmek Orochi. He did the job well. It was a personal playstyle decision to cut him. Gran Maju works well with Orochi and since i wasn’t using orochi then Maju is less useful for me. Link Kuriboh, yea looking back i have no idea why he wasn’t in the deck. Definitely going in next time.

Ahhh I see it! You are very right. I think that was a case of tunnel vision there. I think I was so focused on removing Fenrir that I forgot I could just stop Shangri-ira. Either that or I forgot to turn my toggle on and had to play around my mistake.

Blame Yugioh Masterduel for crappy reading 😁. I also still get nervous stopping and reading while recording myself. Trust me I know you are very right. This video and the others before are just me going in blind and getting my first impression. I will definitely take your advice and play around with her more in my free time. Oh thanks, I'm going to make a note of all of this. I will try him out eventually since I plan to sample everyone. He definitely looked, just from the preview video, like one of those characters which will reward players who take the master him, but is on the tougher side when starting out.

@@CasualKeem Yeah, the dude basically has no weaknesses if you know how to play him but he takes multiple runs to get the hang of. When I tried him first, my first impression was that he was good for killing mobs because of freeze but bad for bosses because bosses can resist freeze and he lacked damage to melt bosses. But 3 more runs later, I found that he had low damage because I couldn't properly utilize the "offensive moves are upgraded upon sheathing" universal enhancement. This literally triples his damage when you proc it and gives him access to proper stylish combos by chaining multiple other combo routes alongside his basic attacks instead of only doing the basic attacks.

Gosh it's makes me sad people don't really play pure Rikka these days. They have been lost in the shadow of Sunavalon sadly. I did run into a few during the event, I was tempted to try mine but Icejades called to me.

It's really not, I focused on board breaking rather than stopping my opponent. In case you didn't notice mostly all the duels in this video showed me going second. Also "Kairyu-Shin" clears the field on its own when it hits the field.

​@@CasualKeemI try to climb master 1 with this deck, currently M3. do u think horus and lil dogmatika (2 nadir, maximus) can fit the deck? I like sending garura and ignister synchro for draw and bounce opp field

@@ronnykn2108 Well you are much better than me. I usually just hang out in Diamond, usually stopping if I push a deck to Diamond 1. But trust me i've seen plenty of people using Horus with this deck. It's quite scary to face. I don't use it only because I personally don't like the Horus cards 😅. Not sure for Dogmatika, makes me curious to try 🤔. In theory so long as Kairyu-shin can hit the field consistently any other support only enhances the deck.

@@CasualKeem the problem when I run 2 engines dogmatika and horus I didnt draw either the missing piece , umi field spell or kairyu. but help me play through negates

@@ronnykn2108 That's the sacrifice with Umi. More engines give you power and more offense, while less gives you consistency and more defence.

Oh get the point, i've dropped the Ice Barriers in my time 😉. Admittedly I did want to drop Diva for this build, but i'm too addicted to the level 10 synchros. I was also just too lazy at the time to experiment and try other playstyles. Plus my main focus was building and testing my new deck for ranked. Also yes the Kosmochlor is shiny.

Also cradle isnt lock to 1 a turn and the field is great cause it can return one ice jade from grave or banished on play so pair it with the ur spell the sword that sends a lvl 10 and draw 2 (forget the weird name) and it basically a freee draw Also I learnt he one icejade tuner 7 is really good cause it self revives every turn as a equip then next turn can summon and can syncho with the lvl 3 or if you use lvl 1 for lvl 8 admancipator I still have my old icejade deck just in rank it dosent stack unless your hands perfect But gg and recycle​@@CasualKeem

@@dage2079Believe I know all this, i’ve played and made a couple of videos with the Icejades. Although thanks to you i’m now going to showcase a build of the deck that that prioritzes the icejade lock😁. But don’t right off the ice barriers. The purpose isn’t to replace the Icejade lock. It’s a faster way to lock the opponent down especially if your hand isn’t perfect (cause it’s always in the extra deck). You get a big monster who floats into Trisula to banish cards, another monster who yes can stop effects but his main purpose is to empty the opponent’s hand, and another monster to stop your opponent from attacking. That messes up a lot of decks. Pair that with “Icejade gymir aegerine” who protects them and banishes and your opponent has to think a lot and can even run down their timer. All while you relax and look for the pieces for your main lockdown with the spell cards.

@@CasualKeem your absolutely right thr support makes the deck have a chance for rank comeback if used correctly And just my opinion I used to run deep sea diva combo with synchro spell but all those card spots just for a untargetable tremors isn't worth it due to tremors effect and you can make admancipator for spell guard But to each their own, I just run evenly for rank but new support you can add heavy storm tinola I think her name, and few other traps or urs for support. As deep sea runs risk of nib, inperm, call by, I rather run ice jade and deck makes easy to grab and with the other lvl 7 I told you it's simpler. Again gg I respect icejade decks why I sub you

I much appreciate the Sub and I hope I can do the icejades justice when I try to showcase them. This event really lets them shine since most things that stop them are removed. Ranked is a different story and I keep hoping one of us can crack the code to get them to have them succeed more often like they use to before the power creep got ridiculous. These days you need the perfect hand most of the time to get going.

I actually started out with small world because I thought the same as you with Personal Spoofing. You can see it in earlier videos. It was until i found out it’s true potential of instantly triggering Multifaker effect when it searches her. Which made things much less slower than one would think and opened a few doors I didn’t realize were there. As for prosperity, I built my deck to rely less on extra deck summoning and more on trap control. So I don’t need every extra deck card. Once the main extra deck monsters are in rotation I just keep recycling them with manifestation.

Also dark renewal works pretty good in this deck

@@smillerbee8115 I'm curious, how do you use dark renewal? Cause I feel a lot of the better decks have many ways to dodge it. Relying on your opponent to keep a monster on the field, or not out right negate it, is very difficult right now.

And since alterg mons special summoned by malwisp cant activate their eff (mostly i summon meluseek with her during opp turn), i can trigger meluseek by sending her to gy + summon multifaker from deck/gy with dark renewal. I know its slow since it is trap card, but sometimes i feel its better to have more options because ash blossom mostly used to negate spoofing or hexstia

@@smillerbee8115 That’s very much too slow for me. Not because it’s a trap, if you see my list it’s basically a trap deck. On paper I get it, but Solemn Strike I feel achieves all this better. It stops the boss monsters, can’t be negated accept by other counter traps and can be used if you don’t have a monster on field. It also negates Ash blossom or other annoying effects that can stop you play.

Listen, you don’t waste time thinking. There is no Ash Blossom in sight, of course I had to grab this deck and unleash its full power 😁. It’s such fun.

You can’t steal what’s freely given 😁. I think I said so in the video but the Brionac is completely optional. So it’s just the 3 cards.

Maybe when the newest support comes, but it hasn’t been a deck whose playstyle has interested me.

@@CasualKeem yeah they have another supports like maccaron and ala carte but it still haven't released yet But i do have altergeist deck and its fun tho

Yes it's a very funny ruling actually. Evenly matched can't banish tokens. The text says "You can make your opponent banish cards from their field face-down...". So the "banish face- down" is the important part. Since tokens can't be banished face down they can't be selected via the effect of evenly matched. So if you can get a token on your opponents field they are forced to banish everything else but the token.

Yubel is fine. The deck has tools to deal with included “evenly matched 😉”. Yubel specifically can handle monster effects but this is technically a trap deck. Always keep in mind this is deck is not an auto win deck. It’s a control deck that earns its wins from understanding what your opponents are doing and dismantling their plays and board effectively.

@@CasualKeem Yeah Yubel is mostly fine until the opponent starts filling the back row. I wanna prevent that. And everyone plays Evenly Matched I have it on my synchro puking deck which can be stop easily with few hand traps. That's why I'm here. I want a deck that don't rely so much on extra deck cards. Auto win... what?

@@pretty_hell Altergiest definitely relies it's extra deck. I've showcased a few that don't, like "Umi Control, Volcanics and Nemleria and Dogmatika. Or you can look up Decks like Shinobird and Vangquish Soul. OF course Labrynth as well. For Back row removal, "Heavy storm" got unbanned, there is "Cosmic cyclone" and also "Unending Nightmare", if you can find space for these cards. When I say "auto win", I mean the most recent top decks, which are super consistent and play through every disruption get all their cards back etc. etc. eg. the tearlaments, snake eyes and all that. With this Altergiest deck you get heavy punished for slightly misplaying, or wasting cards.
