As a former choir member, 55 years ago, I listened to this with envy. We created some delightful music, but there have, over the years since, been some wonderful songs that I would have loved to perform. This was utterly beautiful and has brought back some happy memories. Young people have so much talent and should be given every opportunity of showing it off. In my last year as a teacher, before retiring, the school organised its first dance festival. I was given an hour on duty, looking after the visiting pupils from local primary schools. I was not happy and moaned and grumbled. Five minutes in, i was entranced and stayed for the full three hours! Sometimes, old fogeys like me forget that what we sang or danced to was once considered "modern". Sometimes, we miss out on something stunning. I'm glad to have heard this beautifully performed song.
