The Untold Truth About Global Population
The anxiety of rapid population growth in the 20th century has clouded us from recognizing that the current population growth has a limit. The decline that we will face in population then can have severe consequences for the economic ecosystem that we have built as humans. Still the conversation around this theme is either unexplored or denied. It's time we talk about it.

AI technology has permeated every aspect of modern life, yet educational institutions lag surprisingly behind. It Can Be Automated. But Not Affordably.
มุมมอง 33221 วันที่ผ่านมา
Some tasks can be automated, but the steep costs of AI-powered technologies keep them out of reach for many companies. This is partly a reason why automation isn’t as common as it could be. High costs make companies stick to human labor, even when automation is possible.

Universities Must Embrace AI Before It’s Too Late
มุมมอง 778ปีที่แล้ว
The rise of AI tools has been a shock to university's traditional structure of assignments, especially on the area of independent writing. While some universities are banning the use of AI, others are attempting to embrace the revolution. Universities are at a crossroad, as not adapting to AI will make several curriculums questionable, and adapting itself comes with tremendous challenges. Insta...

      That's true... There's a reason why it costs so much just to give birth, and they even make you pay to hold your own baby... It's all by design, they want to reduce the population

    Musk saying there is not enough labor, as he touts his Optimus Bots that will end the need for human labor, is crazy. People will naturally have more children when conditions are good for their children, and for raising them. ... And did you ever consider why Elon Musk wants more labor? Plenty of labor? Well, look at the black death. After that, the landlords had to pay the peasants, or serfs, more for their labor, because labor was scarce. You are blowing Elon's trumpet, serving the billionaires who pretend to be on our side with this video. Please be more thoughtful next time.

  • @kiase978
    @kiase978 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Obviously, it's not affordable when you only get 100 views. What a lazy take. "Robots are expensive blah blah blah". Do some real research and display some real stats. Not a 2 min generic video with no real information. Not saying that you cannot put any real information in 2 minutes. You could have used this to list some of the latest robots and how much they cost. Also any projects on if/how long before they actually become affordable. You have to realize that once we figure out how to train a general-purpose robot, it would be foolish to go back to human labor (with exceptions). Its just material and electricity.

      Mr. Keyboard economics expert - I will be happy to see your data. I hope you have something else to do besides criticize new content creators. Hopefully, you will start with a million views on your first video. The video at least provides multiple cost factors Your Comment: 'Trust me, bro, it's simple. Just material and electricity' The argument be like 'Why don't poor people just buy more money?'

  • @ManureMerchandise
    @ManureMerchandise 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

    What people forget is most manufacturing already has been automated. A general purpose robot is often way too complicated vs a special use actuator or ball screw.

  • @abhinavaryal6557
    @abhinavaryal6557 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I disagree. Every innovation when it was first introduced was unaffordable for the general use. Look at computers: it didn't take long for computers to reach the general public. And I think it will take even less for Robots to reach us because a lot of people are working on making it a reality. This is going to disrupt a lots of jobs and it can be catastrophic to countries like Nepal which mostly exports unskilled labor to wealthy countries. I believe the focus should be on how can prepare for this disruption and prevent the catastrophe. Here's a video about Nvidia's recent work on the next wave of robots. th-cam.com/video/uhLDHA9skFk/w-d-xo.html

    • @kiase978
      @kiase978 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, this video is a lazy take. The ending was funny. The "underdeveloped and developed" argument is very out of touch. Obviously, it's a matter of economics. But also of precision. Most of the manufacturing happens in these "developing" countries. But, they still use robots wherever possible. You only need to train one robot once and the rest just replicate, they make fewer errors with a precision that's not achievable by humans.

    Very informative stuff! One of the things that's most concerning for me is there's a huge percentage of people out there who are not even aware that deepfakes exist. There's a real chance of subtle manipulation of public opinion through deepfake content on short form social media because there's hardly any chance of corroborating information that comes at you in tiktoks and reels.
