Stock 2018 Dodge Charger Daytona 392 DYNO!
Hey everyone! I have my new 2018 Daytona 392 and I took it over to the shop to get a baseline of what this thing is putting down. This car is STOCK, performance wise. This was done on a Mustang Dyno. I will get an headers/exhaust done later this year, and Run it again to see what type of gains they make.

You have to get the z automotive tazer to update the system for the controls to work properly
All of those signals are multiplexed, meaning each function sends a different voltage. Do some research on the voltage for each function and you could (or I could) figure it out. Paddle shifters may never work since 14 and 15 use different transmissions.

What ended up being the issue
So with my 2012 Chrysler 300 i had this problem but it was the humidity sensor up on the windshield. I noticed before any of this started the recirculate button would flash when pressed and be greyed out on the screen. After replacing sensor everything worked as normal. Must fail to ground and send the computer crazy. Hope this helps someone

Remove fuse 44 in trunk . after that the rest will start working. then look for the problem in the blind spot beam
For ANYBODY trying the swap it is possible with the z Automotive tazer you can even get paddle shifters to work
Can you ? i had a clowster swap and with the z tazer works .it’s the same With the steering wheel?
@@ChrissG12 yes it works the same with the steering wheel to make paddle shifters and steering controls fully functional

@@ChrissG12a lil off track, but the cluster swap was all you needed for the z automotive tazer to work? With srt pages and all?
maybe if i install cluster from 2016, buttons will start to work?

Same problem center console is out but my still be off on acc ... and my defrost fan come on but come off...I tryd putting it on the computer and said my telematics module needs fix.. what did they say when u took to dealership
Heyy I got a 2012 300 my car in the shop now nd that’s what they saying the problem they want 1800 all together parts programming nd labor smh did that fix your problem on yours ?
Its possible to dismantle a cruise control button from second steering wheel? Mine stop working and I can't find any clues
I upgraded my 2012 cluster as wel and now my buttons don’t work it could be maybe you need the same gen as well only thing works is radio Buttons and cruise controll

When I took the car to the dealership all they did was remove the dash and disconnect/reconnect all the connections. The problem ended up being a loose connection on one of the harnesses.

How did you get paddle shifters on the 2014 steering wheel
Mine came like that from the factory. The paddle shifters were around since the 2012 year (maybe 2011)

Awesome numbers. I get my scat dyno'd this weekend. Any info on what gear they were doing the pulls? Also traction control off? Or I've been seeing stuff about people pulling abs fuses.. just wanted to see if you did any of those when doing your runs. Thanks!
Tx_Scat thanks! To be honest I can’t remember what gear, I think 5th.... but they turned off all traction control settings. No need to pull any fuses, they didn’t pull any on mine. I recommend having a tazer to use the “after chiller” feature or whatever it’s called (I think the 19’s+ years have that feature already) . It’s used to cool the engine while the engine is off, I used it before getting on the dyno to cool temps before the 1st run, and after the last run.

@DC_Daytona_392 have ever compare a number oof cables in the connector between 2014 and 2015? is it the same? Maybe there was a need to replace clockspring as well?
All you got to do is take off the negative connection for a 10 more seconds & if it still continues it's your battery change it should take of the problem that's what i did

Hi did you use the same air bag or did you have to get another one. I just got mine but it didn't come with an airbag.

My 2017 Chrysler 300C screen goes black intermittently. Car is under warranty. The dealer said everything is fine, but they are incompetent. It went black just last night driving home. Chrysler products SUCK. Trading it for BMW soon. Never again will I buy Chrysler.

This probably didn't work because you had the power on you need to unplug the battery when doing things like this. What did you do with the steering wheel?
I have a Chrysler 300s 2013 and is the same problem ... Can’t seem to find the problem ... I seen That everyone with a 300 has been with dz problem and nobody really knows why... people even spend money on a new Center consul and the problem starts again ...(new screen and new radio and still does dz)
I am literally having this same issue just with my climate control stuck on off and none of my buttons are working. Did this issue get claimed under your warranty?

Did you disconnect the battery before you removed the air bag if not you probably messed something up
Did you try to re-pin your connector it's possible the new steering wheel has the wires in a different location I would imagine it would work if you repin the connector

Impressive numbers! I've been debating on doing tune only and leaving the stock exhaust on my 19 392 charger. Not sure yet.
Thanks! I was thinking of a tune, I just don’t want to buy a unlocked PCM. Plus I don’t want to take the chance and void any warranty with the tune. The only mod I have planned is to get some headers and exhaust, but keeping the factory exhaust valves.
@@RobertsDP Totally agree, I don't think there is a lot left on the table with these 392's, dodge squeaked a lot out of them stock. If anything a tune and catless they say is the best bang for the buck.
@@RobertsDP -Just get a CLS550... the twin turbo V8 type. It'll fix your horsepower woes real quick.

Had an '09 Ford f-150 with the same problem.
What did you have to do to fix the issue I’m going through the same issue now and the dealership is saying that they can’t fix it. My car has been in the shop 4 times for this issue
I had to take it to 2 shops. The 1st was a trash dealership I will never step foot in again (Darcars - MD) The 2nd shop (Ourismen - MD) was great. They had it for about 10 days. On day 1 they took the whole dash out of the car, testing all the cables for bad wiring (didnt find any) put everything back together. They took it on countless test drives over the next 9 days but couldn't recreate the issue. Their final diagnosis from what they could tell was there was a connection (male to female clip) which wasnt seated properly, in which over time driving, it just disconnected. They didn't have to replace any parts or flash any software. Hope this helps with your issue.
