The fact that the adults in the audience were booing the other cheerleaders is disgusting. They can’t even be called adults. They’re children who need to be taught how to respect other people. I want to see those adults attempt to cheer, have a loud voice, strong movement and stances all while performing and entertaining for a large audience. Those people should be ashamed.

I don't understand the purpose of these things. They look so confrontational and aggressive. Is it teaching these young beautiful women anything beyond being a jerk to people they've never even met? I get that step is a cultural thing, but I think it would be more productive to just have a competition with regular judges instead of these aggressive face offs. How many times have physical altercations happened at these events? I know I've seen some here on TH-cam. I love watching step dancing and the way the girls incorporate rhythm and motion, but I wish they were competing in a less oppositional environment. Even the fans in the bleachers are hurling insults. It's just not ok and it's creating even more anger in an already angry world.
