Based in rural Wellington New Zealand, husband and wife team Tracey & Corey humanely control pests throughout the Region with high powered air rifles.
With poison drops throughout the area we see these pests being inhumanely killed being dehydrated and starved.
With this control we are killing them quickly rather than drawn out, maintaining this problem to help dry stock, beef and livestock with feed control and paddock maintenance. We are doing the pests justice and reusing their fur coats for other animals, to keep them warm in the colder months. Follow us in our adventures and laughs as this "dual predator" couple navigate their way through rural New Zealand maintaining pest control.

Shooting pukekos with a 17hmr on a beef farm

I'm on a beef farm and the owners are worried about the contamination to drinking supply for there cattle. Pūkeko can be aggressive and territorial when nesting in spring. I have contacted Fish & Game NZ to get a permit for 3 weeks to shoot the pukeko with my 17hmr which is out of season to shoot pukekos. Tracey and I venture out to the Akatarawa forest in search of food ( Meat) for the freezer while the supermarket keeps putting the price up. The trip was unsuccessful but we came away with a plan for the next visit. Stay tuned for the next video and let's hope we get some action for you to view.

Its finally spring and the air rifles are out!

With winter being so wet, it was a great time to clean and tighten the air rifles and start getting our field crafts a spruce up for this coming spring. We now have a trail camera and a new Pard nv007 night vision to use. watch future episodes to see how we use this to our advantage.
gamo swarm Magnum + Fox with H&N pellets

Tracey and I purchased Gamo Swarm magnum .22 and Swarm fox air .177 rifles to use during pest control in NZ. We are trying to find the best pellet these rifles will shoot the best groups with ranging from 15m out to 37m at our Farm.

Hi John,you can contact your local fish & game to get a permit to shoot them out of season with a good reason. The permit lasts for 3 weeks with a max number of pukekos to be no more than 5 a day. Thanks for your concern .
If you do a video on pest control show pest control, not a couple of dead animals that could have died of old age
