We need more preachers of his convictions today. May Gods name be always glorified.
I often wonder why God removes good solid Bible preaching expositors of his Word in dead and leave the bad minister and pastor behind. Dr. Jones was a godly man....yet God took him. I realize not that God does not NEED us to bring his kingdom in.
Jeremiah answers that question; the Lord's people love to have it so.
Friend Merry Christmas, sadly many seminaries prepare people in public relations and not theological studies. God s kindness that the internet was invented to spread HIS word. We are blessed that sermons of value are available either spoken by a reader or recorded.

God gathered up the fine wheat and saved it for the famine of our day and it brings tears to my eyes to think of how God in his providence preserved for us the true word of God as preached by true men of God. if he hadnt provided a preacher I would have never heard the truth,,,,I would have been left groping, confused, unable to think and bound in chains,,,,

@@margaretharypkema9290 yeah that would be nice. But the Lord has placed us where we are and we have many people to encourage in front of ourselves and to be encouraged by also. I’ve often wished to meet people who are far away but it never works out. God bless!

A church pastor friend of mine says 'what Richard Baxter was to the 17th century, the Wesley's and Whitefield to the 18th century, Charles Spurgeon and JC Ryle were to the 19th century so thus Lloyd-Jones was to the 20th century as being the best purest in their theological beliefs.
