I watched Downton Abbey in german. This is the first time seeing/hearing the original version and the way Mary emphasize the words makes so much more sense now and gives the character an even more iconic feel. The german is not bad - but it‘s not the original

Buen personaje, pero majaderamente bullyinera, era como un tic nervioso eso de andar haciendole bullying y denostando a cualquiera Su personaje se mantuvo mas bien estático durante toda la serie, creo que podrían haber sacado mucho más partido.
I dont understand why every guy in this show fell in love with her so easily. She is sarcastic and witty yes but her rudeness, selfishness and coldness is quite disgusting.

Just another amazing Julian Fellows creation. Lady Mary's evolution from the opening scene... all the way to the last episode... was just another piece of this show's appeal. The evolution of ALL of the characters was something... but Lady Mary's was epic.
