If you need repair done to your CRT do your research and learn how to be safe or leave it to the professionals! Ooh! I like the new model. I missed the stream again tho rip :c
Thank you!!! I am glad you like the new model!!! Way more chill vibes from the updated model. Although do not worry about missing stream
What console?
I play Minecraft on the Wii: U
Oh, how cool ,I have the ps3 version
Ooh cool cool!! All the versions are so cool. Like they are all unique but so similar at the same time
@@SimonCRT true
I especially like the way rain looks and sounds with shaders and a realistic resource pack. ...except in my world with tons of mods, its often acid rain because I've heavily polluted my world due to my own little industrial revolution (thanks to hbm nuclear tech mod). So yes the rain is pretty (deadly!) xD
Honestly though you are so right. Rain looks soooo cool when using realistic shaders. Although yeahhhh acid rain would not be fun in a world like that. It does sound pretty bad
I really like that the video was uploaded in 4:3, cute touch
Thank you!!! I love making these nerdier videos in 4:3 it just looks so old and retro and gives like a back in the day showing off tech vibes
good video this should have more views. you should integrate a mini pc with baterocera i did it with a old celron hp laptop in my old lg tv it was purrty easy
Thank you for the kind words!!! That would be a super fun idea. Could even throw a raspberry or an old netbook or laptop in there. Thank you for the idea!!!
great stream!!
Thank you!!!!
Oooh nice! Its just a lil guy. I don't have any CRT devices anymore at all, but I kinda wanna get a small one for emulating old games, they just don't look the same on an LCD or LED.
Ngl there is nothing like using an old crt to play some old retro games. Even up to the Wii it just looks so good but lcd / led displays can not even compare
wow, this really takes me back. very first experience with minecraft was xbox 360 version shortly after my parents got me the console for my 13th bday. This solidified my love for the game and shortly after I'd finally save up enough money from holidays to buy myself a laptop to play java edition on.
Gosh your comment reminded me of how I got into Minecraft. I didn't mention it in the video but I got into playing the game by playing the Pocket Edition Trail Edition. I literally played it for about an hour and loved it so much I wanted the full game that same day. I don't remember how old I was but I remember being young. However I did get the Wii U edition years later but never super played it because I had Java Edition and Bedrock already. However I still love this version so much and just love its quirks and cool optimizations. I wish I played it more when I was younger but I am so I get to still enjoy the game now!!
Aw I missed the stream, I like the new channel name tho.
Aw sorry I streamed at such a weird time in Monday’s. However thank you. I am really liking the new name. Definitely a change but hey it matches my nerdy side
@@SimonCRT no it's fine, it's a fairly normal time for where I live, I don't even work at that time. I was just asleep due to my head hurting lol.
Ooh gotcha gotcha. Completely understandable and I am happy you did get some rest then. Headaches are the worst so truly do not worry about missing stream. There will always be another stream plus now that I stream twice a week more of a chance to join. I hope you feel better though
I made it through 39 seconds and gave up
Hey now Ik im not the only person doing this lol
R.I.P Asus Eee PC 2007-2013

You should've tried servers

Even though i mostly like keeping my computers stock, Linux is an interesting OS for stuff like the EeePeeCee and various low power PCs. (i had the same as yours but it's a 1001pxd) It's much less resource intensive than Windows if you want something newer than XP on that thing, and it's also fun to play with. Anyways, great video! I wonder what else would you do on that thing! Also, fellow youtuber here. 😄👍
Hellow fellow TH-camr!!! I hope your TH-cam adventures are going well hehehe. Thank you so much though! Nevertheless I can so understand that. I was the same way for a long time and still am. That is kinda why I showed off the orginal OS as well. However late last year I got more into Linux and have been loving it so kinda wanted to show it off here as well. Although I do agree with you it is such a fun operating system to play with
hmmm eeepeecee a fellow dankpods enjoyer?
@@RedVRCC Yep! Watching him since the start of 2020.
You have such a nice voice.
Thank you!!!
Nice one. Debian 12 is pretty good and stable and has a large amount of packages available, it doesn't have quite as much hardware support out of the box though. Personally I like to run Mint, you could try the xfce4 version which runs well on older hardware.
I actually ran Linux Mint XFCE in the first episode. I might revisit Linux Mint for a later video for a little challenge
THE EEE PEE CEE RETURNS!! ARMIN THAT NUGGET!
I HAVE GOOD NEWS I know for sure that november first I will have the friday off...yeah I know in a long time BUT better late then never (also I am bubby I just changed my name)
Ooh truly do not worry. Take your time. Whenever you can come to stream you are more than welcome to join however do not feel bad if you can't make it to stream
_but can it run minecraft_
Hmmmmm... maybe or maybe not idk... you will have to wait for the full video coming out tomorrow to see if it can... maybe a block game is mentioned... 😉
@@SimonCRT it doesnt
Hi! Hi! This is a little sneak peak on my next nerdy video coming out on Saturday!! I can’t wait to show you all the full video on Saturday!!!
Another great vid :D
Thank you ^-^
This was honestly just really chill and delightful, a nice change of pace from bashing my head against my keyboard because I can never seem to get anything to work 😅
I am so happy you enjoyed the chill vibe I had in this video. Although yeahhhh... I can get that feeling. Truly been trying to make a second episode on this laptop and it didn't go to plan. However just hope this video gave you a little break from computers just being a pain sometimes ^-^
Hi! Hi! Just wanted to come here and say thank you for the wonderful and delightful stream today!!! I had a blast playing one of my favorite games and talking with chat. Truly changing from Twitch to TH-cam was scary and nerve wracking. I was so nervous to do it for so long cause I didn't know how it would go but you all have made it such a great experience. So thank you. I now feel excited to stream again and don't feel so worn out from streaming. Again thank you and can't wait to see you all next week. Have a great week you all!!!
this game looks familiar but I can't put my finger on it :c
Another good Minecraft video. I enjoyed this one. I really love the retro vibe thing you're going for. Also enjoyed all the updates you mentioned while strip mining.
Thank you!!! I had a lot of fun making this one. Much of a different vibe compared to some of my others in the series but had a lot of fun making it. However really happy with how this video turned on and really happy you enjoyed it!!!
randomly stumbled on this video, don't even watch much minecraft anymore, and yet I didn't realize how more than 20 mins flew by while having this vid in the background xd. i like your voice and a CRT modding vid sounds neat!
I am so glad you enjoyed the video even if you don't watch much Minecraft related content anymore. I have so much fun making them and love having a chill vibe where you can do other stuff while watching. Also I sooooo need to do the CRT modding video some time soon
I'd eat that skin
Hey! Been a lil while hasnt it? Its so great to see you still making content! Its great to see ya again bud
Hi!! It has been quite a while!! Hehe and yeah still making content. Stuff has changed quite a bit around here and I am now focusing on mainly just TH-cam but I am enjoying making content more than ever. I love my little channel! I hope you have been good!!
@@SimonCRT been doin very good! Got my stuff straight and got a job now! Well i guess i will have to sub to your yt to now then huh? Great speakin to ya again pal
That is great to hear! I am so happy that you are doing good!! Also if you want to of course you can subscribe but never feel obligated. Either way I hope you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy your stay here!
I love having your vids in the backround
Thank you for the kind words!! ^-^
Ngl I have really loved the chill watch while doing other stuff vibe or gaming session with a friend kinda vibe I have been doing more recently. So I am super happy you have been liking it as well
The "oh goodness gracious" and you spinning around got me laughing for 78 years
IM CRYING THAT I MISSED THIS
Can't be helped I personally was at work :(
Ooh I am so sorry you were not able to make it to stream but thank you for caring about my content. I hope you still enjoy the archive of it and I will be streaming next week so hopefully you can make that one
@@Rikaisan Yeah agree it really can't be. Trying to find the perfect time for stream is nearly impossible. However I hope the archives are still fun to watch and hey... you get to skip all the boring parts now that it isn't live
@@SimonCRT Im vewy sowwy 😔😔🥺🥺, but I think I'll make the next one
@@RRaisedByYahweh Hey hey you do not have to apologize. Never ever feel bad for missing stream or not watching a video or anything. We all have stuff happening outside of this little corner of the internet. Trust me I am a very busy person I wish I could stream more
BRO NO, I may not be able to be at the live, I'll have to watch it when its done 😔😔 very unsigma
Ooh do not worry one bit. Stuff comes up and that is perfectly ok if you can’t watch it live. However the benefit of streaming here is everything is archived right away so if you want to watch stream later you can and experience it almost like it was live still. However I do hope you have a wonderful day today and I hope you enjoy stream when you can watch it
in my onion uh 2 days is way to long
- 2:41 I see you and I both share the same mind, it has to be placed when it has to be placed, not before YesYes - You putting the music track names when they play + having a lot of the resources you use in the description is 10000/10 - Having the previous edit in the description is also great, I'm a fan of that decision :) - 12:54 That's so true, I really like what BTA! did with gold; since there are no enchantments, golden tools are used as silk touch tools instead, I think that gives them a good use! - 14:08 You can put anything in your offhand in Java :( don't know why you can't in other platforms - Modifying a CRT sounds like a fun project, I'm looking forward to watching that! - 21:53 I also mine around diamond veins! It's also useful in case there's connected veins c: - 22:40 You left a gold ore!! nooooooo - 23:00 I'm also happy with your nerdy content :) I hope you make more! I'm happy to assist if you ever need help with something Linux or programming related c: (found you through the Linux mint video, I remember leaving a comment, but can't find it anymore :c) - 1:58 Grrr mimimim Grrr mimimimi great video! also, your link tree is broken, I think, you mention a lot of socials, but there's only TH-cam and Fiverr in there :$
Hehehe we really think similarly. I really am like nope am not placing that there yet so it isn't allowed to be there hehe. Although thank you for the kind words and I am so happy you are enjoying my content with the variety of it. I am super excited to do more nerdy content as well and possibly will be modifying that CRT on a video. Also I always want to make sure to credit creators for the content I use. Just because they created it and deserve to be seen. Plus if anyone wants to use a resource then they can just do it instead of having to search. Also that is such a good idea to use gold for silk touch. Cheaper to repair and also mines quick. Although noooooo I missed the gold. ;-; Ooh and another thing. I completely forgot to remove that with the re-edit so I appreciate you mentioning that. I did take down my socials I mentioned since I made the video. I am now streaming here so if you want to watch streams you can watch them here. I am planning on changing some stuff but right now it is just those two. However I did edit out that part of the video using the TH-cam editing feature so there won't be confusion. Thank you again Edit: The part of the video I mentioned my other social medias is now removed from the video. Thank you again for mentioning it ^-^
Grr mimimim Grr mimimi
Grrrrrr mimimimimi grrrrrrr mimimimimi
I can't believe you could open chests under a roof in old minecraft lol, great vid
For the roof I actually used stairs. So since they are not full/solid blocks you can still open the chest. Just like slabs. This way it does look all clean on the inside of the build. Also thank you for the sweet kind words and happy you liked the video
@@SimonCRT HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL THIS?! TEACH ME YOUR WAYS TEACH ME THE WAY OF THE MINECRAFT SIGMA
Hahaha lol!! I have definitely been playing the game for a long long time so I guess I have picked up some tips and tricks with my years of knowledge. Maybe I will make a tips and tricks video to show off all the little things you can do in the game
aw man i missed the stream :c i really like your channel, i hope you get more subs!
Do not worry about missing stream. I am going to be streaming here once a week so hopefully if you want to you are able to join another stream. However thank you so much for such sweet words. I am happy you do like my channel and enjoy it. I sure enjoy making content for you all
Its funny listening to a softboy teaching stuff cuz you never ever seen one teach how to run linux
Hehehe I guess I am bringing a unique twist to both being a softboy and being someone who talks about Linux
