This video is my introduction to my youtube channel and the vision I have.
Where do u get ur sinew from?
Much respect my brother. I’m honored to be following your channel on yt and I don’t have any social media account. However my wife does and will make sure we both follow you through her account. Love your work, your reverence for God and the honor and respect for our military and people in general! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Aho. I like the story, of your humble beginning. Not to many people out there like this no more.
Mr Cody, how do we contact you personally? I would love to speak to you.
Such a beautifully artistic breastplate. I am currently making beaded necklaces and find this work to be incredibly rewarding. Thank you for sharing your beautiful prayers as they are a wonderful reminder to always be grounded in gratitude. Sending infinite love and warm greetings from Missouri.
Sure wished the volume was higher an the video was closer + bin thinking of making a chest plate from Deer ribs- boiling them an scraping , filing them to shape -your thaught on that Sir please answer
just about finished the Eagle bone Brest plate or chest plate as some would say - took 200 Eagles to make the front - 150 to make the back and 50 to make the 2 sides - will post some videos and photos of it finished - Eagles will be returning next few weeks and the work looking for sick Eagles in the forest will start again - rescued 10 last season - so far rescued over 70 past 16 years - love your videos -
Thank you so much for sharing your gift and teachings, I would like to share a song I wrote which came from Creator out of the Great Book Job 36 & 37 where it speaks about the Greatness of our Creator and His Voice that Thunders. I hope you enjoy it! th-cam.com/video/yvVaZJBplOY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rijqP_1PNu172OTJ
When you finish a row and start the next one, what happens with the bit of sinew between the beads that begin each subsequent row? Do you just pull it tight or cut and melt the tips? Miigwetch.
Thank you
Thank you for sharing these. I'm glad to learn but learn the right way:) you've acquired a new subscriber
This guy is a treasure! I hope he's still well out there. Very informative and I've learned a lot from this. My breastplate has been in need of repair for a while now I feel comfortable enough to give it a whirl. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, appreciate it
Hau, Elder. Your stories are amazing. I can't stop listening to you speak. Thank you for sharing this. I hope to see more.
I'm an Indigenous man and a 100% disabled combat veteran learning to make breast plates. I made my first one and it looked really good but I missed a hole and threw it off at the bottom. I also didn't double up the sinew and forgot to use an anchor so I had to tie the sinew into a big knot at the top inside the first hole just before the first bede so it wouldn't pull through the first hole and when I finished I found that I would also have to do do that at the end. It also wasn't wide enough for my chest but in all pretty good for my first. When you double up the sinew like that do you tie it to itself or around the anchor bede? Please elaborate on the beginning and the end and whether or not you tie the sinew to itself or around the anchor. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos, your knowledge, and your wisdom. I have no one to pass this knowledge down to me unfortunately.
Greetings, Elder Cody. I happened upon your channel searching for insight and ideas for authentic beadwork and how to fashion regalia. I am very impressed with your openness of spiritual teachings and so very much appreciate the opportunity to be guided into the presence of anointed prayer. I would be honored (and humbled) to be a part of your inner circle and receive insight and instruction on a more intimate platform. May the Lord of Lords, Jesus of Nazareth by with you and yours.
Thank you for sharing your stories ❤

Ya’at’eeh Eagle Heart! Yes there’s so much in our culture and we have the spiritual like we do to teach others. I pray in so many different times day, night, as long as we’re sincere and love for our Creator he knows how much he has our hearts ❤️. I pray 🙏🏽 for all my relatives in all the tribes and I see where he’s helped so many. Some people only pray at a church but am always thinking of our Creator and a few years ago I seen him, I could feel his love though his eyes, he cleaned my ♥️. Thank you again for your videos and conversations about our Creator and our history of ancestors and our relatives. Blessings to you and your family 🙏🏽. A’ho
Ya’at’eeh my brother! Yes as I listen to you talk as your beading it’s good to hear these stories of our people and our ancestors. Yes they make a promise they would take our land, they did! There’s more going on with alot of things in different tribes right now but I don’t want to say on social media. On the breast plate as well as the choker, is there a place where you buy them as a kit?, please let me know so I can check it out. Miigwetch. Bye my brother, take care, stay safe. Blessings and good vibes. A’ho

I'm glad to see you doing good, Mr. Cody. You were so intimidating when I was in high school ('10-'14), but now that I've gotten older I appreciate how stern, and honest you were. I stumbled upon your breast plate video looking for ideas to make for my daughter and it's amazing to see your work; and to hear your story. My nana was Kickapoo, struggled with substances, and diabetes for so long. Her dad drank himself to death and ran out on her when she as 1.5 years old. I wish she would have taken things seriously growing up. I'm elated to hear stories like yours. You and Mr. Cope were people to look up to in my opinion. Thank you for sharing, and being so open.
Thank you so much for sharing. I also was diagnosed with bipolar a few years ago and now have found peace and love again. I'm a proud Wendat and a child of God. You are a blessing and I will keep you in my prayers. We are one with God..
I just found you today, I hope you keep making such beautiful videos. Love the regalia.
I recently found your videos, and am so excited to watch and learn as I am wanting to go into my Native American roots, I grew up knowing I have it in my blood but am now wanting to know more each day I am excited about learning not just about making jewelry and how to make pieces of art, but also to learn about my heritage.
Thank you so much for your knowledge and prayer.
There's a Pease in your voice I enjoyed learning and listening to your words thank you for the wonderful insite and story

You are my elder in years by only 3 or 4, but my elder in wisdom by a millennia. Thank you for what you are doing.

not just a beautiful breastplate but beautiful words and meaning behind the heart of the artisan. I watched this video just to see the work of the breastplate, but instead was gifted with words of positivity and blessing. Great video and I wish to maybe purchase this artisan made art in the near future.
