HP-28S?
No TI-84 varians?like pocket edition, TI-84 plus CE
you forgot the 1. vibraslap 2. steel pan 3. cello 4. guitalele 5. triangle 6. slapaphone and many more
Nice butts on that Ti-92 Plus.
Nice thanks for this video
Didn't see the 32SII, 41CV/CX, and a few others. But overall, an informative video. I still have my 75C and 71B and most HP-IL devices. I always thought the 71B was somewhat awkward, as it was neither a convenient calculator nor a good handled computer due to the limited display.
Love HP calculators. My first was the 41CV. Later got a 48G. Both were outstanding.
I still have one of those old 2500s. I had a friend in college with a TI-55. He took his apart and rearranged a few of the keys so that only he knew how to operate it.
HP 16c is missing
the first instrument was basiclly the drum cuz our ancesters probably just started whacking stuff with a stick
The first hand-in sci-calculator could use Trigonometric, Log, victory etc function and have degree-minute-second button is the history point to represent the matured!
The HP 300s + that I have on my desk right now is missing. It is a scientific calculator.😢
There are tons and tons of musical instruments out there, and a great way to learn them is to split them into 5 families: The Strings Family, The Woodwinds Family, The Brass Family, The Percussion Family, and The Keyboards Family.
Keyboards is just either strings, wind, or metallophones (where you strike metal). They are not one group, more like an attribute
SwissMicros DM42
Is really necessary a CAS calculator like texas nspire or hp prime?
0:18 That’s not the correct Little Professor. The original 1976 version had a red LED display and his “mortar board” hat stuck out on the top with a hand-strap that doubled as the hat’s tassle. What’s shown in this video is a newer version from 20-30 years later with no fancy hat and an LCD screen instead of LED.
Yea this is missing a good number of things.
I didn't see the 49g+.
They need to bring back those sexy red screens efen though battery life is short. People have USB chargers and extension cables everywhere now.
❤Hello and congratulations. You can contact me for a project. Thank you
A whole bunch of calculators I didn't even know I needed!
If they re manufactur SR 50, TI-55 I would spend a fortune for those sexy red screens. Double injection molded keyboards are a must.
My first calculator was TI 55 but replaced with HP-41C Loved the RPN system and I still use the HP41C at work. That makes it 40 years old and still going strong. I did get a HP 48 but I still prefer the HP 41
After all these years, and they still make crap.
Sadly TI hasn't done much in the way of evolution. But they are singlehandedly keeping the low-power Z80 market alive. The 68000 calcs as well as the older calcs are interesting to me, but any of the 83, or 84 series are pretty boring. The Nspires are an improvement, but way too many teensy buttons.
This timeline video is a great idea, but it's rather misleading. It would be more educationally helpful if the images chosen were accurate to the period. For example, that's not at ALL what a harp from 3000 BC looked like! And the Pipe Organ shown as being from 300 BC is a Baroque Organ from the 17th-century.
The cello base viola plays piccolo are missing
A minor point: The HP-21 wasn't really a scaled-down version of the 25 - it was really the lower-cost replacement for the HP-35. That's why it had that blue shift key - it was a nod to the blue key colour scheme of the 35. Also, the HP-27S wasn't the first HP calculator to use conventional algebraic entry - the HP-20S, 21S, etc. already had it. In fact, some early HP desktop calculators back in the 1970's were algebraic, as was the HP-71B. The 27S was really aimed at engineering (project) managers and had both scientific and financial functions, but was non-programmable - just like the much earlier (RPN) HP-27.
Ack - the TI-82 runs at 5Mhz, not 2MHz. The wikipedia page has been wrong for an awful long time on this one.
Once HP got beyond LED display, the beautiful industrial design was gone.
They need to bring those back. They were sexy
My first calculator in 1972 was an HP35. I was in my 1st year of engineering school. It cost $228, which was a hell of a lot in 1972. I’ve also bought an HP33, HP41CV, HP48gx and HP50g. I still have them all. I use the 48 pretty much every day.
Crazy some instruments found in bce are still being used today
Too bad I sold my 41cx, 28S and 48G. What great devices they were.
i think its really odd they haven't made bigger screens
What happened to the HP 19B? The improved version of the 18C..., also the 16C (Computer Scientist), 41cv, 41cx, 32s, the 97 and the 97s...
The 41 series was the most special. ❤
This is not all of them, I worked at Texas Instruments testing the calculators.

THIS IT'S FOR PLANETS OTHERS NAMED ABOVE MENTIONED THAT WORKS GAME READY. 🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌
MIssing the 29C, 16C, 32S, and 32S II
TI CAL are lovely devices. Thanks for posting.
Where’s the oud?
You didnt put a flute (like the modern ones today like an open hole flute)
I did not see my beloved HP33E listed above! It replaced an TI50something which I never liked. I mourned when my 33 stopped working.
1:00 HP-41C with blank function keys?
The so-called "blanknut", intended for custom applications via plug-in ROM and the use of a template over the keyboard.
@@LesBell How interesting. Thanks! With that name in hand I'm able to learn more about it. I see the "HP-41C" Wikipedia article even speak so if: "Hewlett-Packard even sold a version of the calculator where hardly any keys had function names printed on them, meant for users who would be using the HP-41C for custom calculations only (thus not needing the standard key layout at all); this version of the calculator was colloquially known, within HP's Corvallis calculator team, as a "Blanknut" (because the development code name for the HP-41C's processor was known as the "coconut")."
I think the video was ok but a lot of the models are missing
you missed out many asian instruments like the ehru
its erhu
You did not add mbira
