    I’ve used Perfect Cast a number of times and it does not take nearly as much of the product that you used in this video. In my experience the consistency of Perfect Cast is very runny when mixed according to the directions , and the rocks I molded turned out great and very sturdy. I don’t understand why you didn’t mix it according to the directions on the package. Am I missing something?

    While your info was valid, this project did NOT need to be presented in "real time" and repeating the same information over and over is annoying. Do advance prep, rehearse, and compress time. Too much time and talk spent for such a simple task.

      @@misttyandco I want to say this without coming off rude, but I'm not sure if it will sound rude no matter how I phrase it. What I want to say is that I think most viewers find the practice of showing results in a different video to be really annoying. Most of us, I think, would rather see the results in the same video. No one really likes the 'tune in to my next short for the rest of the story' thing people are doing now (at least I'VE never seen anyone say anything positive about it, only negative). Content for shorts should be designed to be complete as a short, rather than longer content broken up into pieces just for the sake of making shorts out of content that wasn't designed as such. I hope you take this as constructive advice, assuming you're someone who doesn't want to annoy your viewers. :)

      Let it dry, form it then cut with tissue blade. Then bake it... When using any paint or gold leaf or any type of embellishments you need to seal it. My faves in order, UV Resin, Sculpey clear (have to bake again), or (I've never tried this) polyurethane varnish but watch the brush strokes

    Best vid I've seen. I'm a polymer clay Newbie and starting with the basic, flat 3'8" stud earring. Can you suggest a good cutter company? I also heard you should "flash shock" clay by dropping it in ice water right out the oven..

    • @misttyandco
      @misttyandco 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends what cutters ur looking for, but the basic shapes can be found on amazon. I'm not a fan of that cooling method because the clay can change its flat surface. I do the slow proceed, to lay them flat and lay a heavy straight surface on top untill cool.
