Post Malone saying there's no way he could ever cover Colter Wall is something we really need to acknowledge. Post is a very talented and famous musician himself, he gave his props to Colter like that which is very substantial.
Mr. Tattoo shows how shallow he is…. Probably can’t change a tire.
Any time Joe Rogan doesn't speak I like his show.
Love knowing about artists years before everyone discovers them...
And the fact colter was only 22 when he recorded this.
If only joe listened to the original 16 recording session of this song. It’s so much better live.
Wait until they find out about Charlie Crockett.
Literally all the lyrics are wrong
I'm so happy Rogan knows who Colter Wall and Tyler Childers are, especially Colter. Colter is so unique. I wish folk music were mainstream instead of pop country they play on the radio now.
Wtf are these lyrics
Dude the subtitles are hilariously wrong.
1:00 CLASSIC POSTY
The brewery sessions are even better some how. Colter is one of my favourite country singers now.
damn Post playst minecraft? does he speedrun?
I always found that "bounce" mad you feel like you were watching a horse trot if that makes sense
Hey Joe look up Jake Kohn
I’m a huge Colter fan, in fact he’s my favorite singer currently alive, but I don’t think he should go on Rogan even if it would make him more successful. Maybe a few years ago when the self titled came out, but colter’s moved so far from the edgy Johnny cash imitation shit, which is fine, but someone like Rogan would just dwell on his first two albums even though he’s clearly moved on from that. I like Kate Mccannon, but I think it’s one of the weaker songs on the album and just comes off as cheesy to me.
Rogan is 100% right. Outlaw country is the original gangster rap
These two guys have more talent than everyone on cat country combined.
Tyler Childers had a movie called Slingblade made about him...A mentally challenged man who decided to side with the race grifters and BLM to call all white people racist after Breonna Taylor died hiding behind her drug dealer boyfriend who had just shot a cop.
Fire the subtitle writer now
As popular Kate McCannon is it’s not in his top songs on Spotify. I saw him in concert and he didn’t play it!!!
Thank changed now
I hear Tom Waits when I hear this. Gravel throat. Sparse guitar
Tyler and colter duet a song together, Look into it, it’s amazing
I’d listen the Tyler Childers sing the phone book
I miss fat Post
Been listening to both of these fuys for last 2 years now
Country music is actually In a great place now IMO. Carried heavily by Zach, Tyler, luke and co. Morgan and Lainey get shoutouts too.
Could you rattle off some song recommendations for someone keen to learn more about the artists you mentioned
@@rayann7331 I got you friend, most of these are just their most popular songs on their profiles but give an album or two a whirl next time you have an hour: Zach Bryan: “Revival” “something in the orange” “heading south” Tyler Childers: “White House road” “deadman’s curve (live)” “feathered Indians” Luke combs: “when it rains it pours” “the kind of love we make” I like old and western as well when I’m not in the mood to just hear sappy stuff about chicks. I’ll listen to Charlie Robinson, Robert earl keen, and sturgill Simpson. Let me know if you’re interested in anything else. Mood, genre, styles. Cheers
Cody jinks is also good
Thank you! No one ever mentions him but go over to his Adobe Session album and take your pick tbh
@@sighs_ right!!
“People are always trying to make hits, instead of trying to make something beautiful”
That’s where the money at
@@karooom5191 Money’s always the sole intention for you?
Post just needs to stop playing and drop a country album!
Hey, thanks for posting the video! how did you find out about Colter Wall? I’m from rural Manitoba and my mind is blown that I haven’t heard of this guy
Billy strings is where it’s at
Colter is badass Canadian. Real deal. Love em. Snake mountain blues is rad
Why Coulter Wall isn't at the top of the country charts, I will never ever understand.
Because the masses don't enjoy it. Johnny Cash is a legends, but if 75% of the people who wear him on a t shirt actually listened to him, they wouldn't enjoy him. That's just how it is, sadly.
His tickets prices are as much as main stream artists.
@@4315eagle That's true of everyone right now. It's all overinflated. Anyone using ticketmaster is going to have that issue, because it's a dynamic pricing model.
he probably would be bigger if he didn’t switch up his style. nothing he makes now is going on the charts
@@briang-hs6mr Definitely more niche. If this was Cash era though, dude would be a legend. As it stands, I think he's still one of the best acts in music and he is doing top notch traditional country. Too bad the cowboy mystique isn't in right now.
Been a Tyler Childers fan since bout 2017. Him and Jason Isbell are head and shoulders above everyone else, in my opinion. Isbell fan since the Truckers days.
See i feel like chris stapleton beats both of them boys, not only in song writing but also singing, the dude is the greatest singer in country music hands down, and his music is amazing.
I hold Justin Townes Earle in a special place beyond the rest for me
i'd argue Stapleton has a tendency to write boring songs@@bennetttyler6019
Did the deaf dirty.
That's funny
Lol!! 😆
Whoever did the subtitles.. re think your life
No doubt! It seems like a bad translator app translated it and retranslated the lyrics.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂
Does Spotify have auto subs pretty sure that’s what it is
😂😂
😂
Colter is the real deal.
This podcast made me check out Colter. That led to Childers and subsequently "Whitehouse Road" and "Nose On The Grindstone" and now I am fucking HOOKED.
If you like those I recommend checking out Whiskey Myers, Brent Cobb, Turnpike Troubadours, and Zach Bryan. Maybe even Chris Stapleton though he's more mainstream country than the outlaw/Appalachia/old school country sounds of the others.
And definitely Cody Jinks and The Steel Woods!
Banded Clovis is my favorite song of his
Yeah well, Tyler went woke. Sad
when did tyler go woke?@@JoeSmith-dl9ok
Colter is even better live.
need a post childers wall crocket album
Crockett needs to be mentioned more
Play a different song for fucks sake.

Stumbled on Colter Walls music about 4-5 years ago, been a huge fan since.
