This short story is one of noble schemes for power in a bleak swamp nation, where little law exists, crime is everywhere, and murder is common.
In one of the oldest houses in Nerinmor, Maesellen Devoroan is the youngest, caught between murderous siblings and a loveless scheming family, she will either put aside childish things early and become the ultimate survivor of a darwinistic dynasty, or she will be just another of many corpses lost forever in the devouring bogs of a forsaken country.

The next two were done before that, so the 4th book is going to have the same approach as the first. His artistic instincts are spot on. I will have to tell him you said that, though.
