Since I have 5 M18 Red Lithium Extended Capacity 5.0amp batteries so I decided to take one apart so I could look at the inside and it was fairly interesting. After watching videos trying to figure out how to work this thing without enrolling in a rocket science college course, I have found 90% BAD reviews and most people are really struggling to figure these super complicated controls out. I would definitely recommend NOT buying one of these. As Elon Musk would say, "THIS IS A DUMB DESIGN." WAY, WAY, WAY OVER COMPLICATED FOR A DISHWASHER. I AM FEELING RIPPED OFF. 1/2" thick manual! WOW. I just bought it today and they want $5.00 to answer my question of how to turn drying off. Please don't yell at the family when this thing fails.

    I know not recommended but is there any way to add 15 more feet to the cable once u hit 35 ft sometimes just need that extra 15ft to not have to pull out the big guns

    • @chevy5137
      @chevy5137 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can't add any extra to an existing cable, but you can actually purchase 50' cables for it provided they are either 5/16" or 1/4" in diameter however 35' is the maximum for a 3/8" diameter cable. For my machine I have a 50' x 1/4" in cable and a 35' x 3/8" cable.

    • @arealmaintenanceandrepairl1103
      @arealmaintenanceandrepairl1103 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Got it so a 1/4-3/8 50 ft will fit in this what about the m12

    • @chevy5137
      @chevy5137 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use 50" long cables in 1/4" and 5/16" diameter but you can only use 35' long cables if they are 3/8" diameter. The M12 will take a cable of 25' long with a 5/16" diameter max. So the M18 is far superior being able to take cables twice as long, also the M18 is for drains up to 3" where as the M12 is only recommended for drains up to 2-1/2" In addition the M18 has the nice locking collar whereas I believe with the M12 you have to hold back on the collar to keep it engaged. I haven't had a drain I couldn't clear with my M18 yet. I also have the Milwaukee M12 Air Snake which is really nice for smaller clogs and is very quick and easy to use, it has multiple different heads to use on different kinds of drains. I've found it particularly useful for toilet clogs, it has a rubber head specifically made to fit in the toilet for a tight seal and since it uses air pressure instead of a cable that could damage the ceramic inside the toilets trap there is no need to take the toilet off to use it. If your looking for an M12 unit I would definitely suggest the M12 Air Snake.

    I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

    I'm certainly not a pro at routing , but aren't you routing in the wrong direction. When hand routing, you should be going from left to right. If on a router table, you move the piece from left to right across the bit. Unless your video is showing things backwards.

      @Ray Ray For real Husky work gloves, and I'm talking about automotive paint and I never used them when I was actually spraying i would wear disposable rubber gloves. I used them a lot when I would sand vehicles. The padded palm helps lessen the vibration from the DA sander and having open fingers still let's you run your bare hand against the surface to make sure it's properly prepped and that the body filler is smooth and even. Eventually I always started wearing fingerless gloves because a padded palm helps lessen vibration from power tools but still leaves your fingers open for better dexterity so you can grab small things easier than you can with regular gloves on.
