still love it!!
Amazing film! This is the only video clip of the great J.C. Moses. J. C. was an amazing and creative Drummer who played on some iconic recordings.
Fantastic music.
With so many great trumpet players at this time Ted was very underated and often over looked
still is overlooked!
cool jazz : gotta jam like this man
The other day, I just listened to a 20-plus minute version of this lovely Annette Peacock tune by Paul Bley. Nice to discover this on TH-cam! I'm a big Karin Krog fan!

Love Dance and The Moontrane were my first albums imprted from the U.S.. Both inspired me to listen to contemporary jazz at that time. Also, Cecil Mcbee has been my favorite bassist during my life time.
Swing Jazz!!!!!

Doesn't NRK know who the personnel was? They certainly do. Loved seeing my dear, old friend, Gösta who has vanished -- unreachable, no one has confirmed his death as far as I know. Can you shed any light Mats?
Hi Cam, I did inform "dandan" and he added the names. But when Scott Yanow wrote about them they became Norwegians....... (And Stockholm is still the Capital of Copenhagen.......)
Is that JC Moses on Drums!? Anybody?
Yes.
I'd like to know if you have some other recordings from any of my brothers apearances on Norwegian (or other) stages?
I was so happy when a friend found this recording! It is a great one with my brother Lasse, his best friend altosaxplayer Christer Boustedt and longtime friend on the bass, Gösta Wälivaara. Georg Riedels Pippi-tune, Kraft-Henrys "Jag har bott vid en landsväg (I have lived by a highroad)" and not to forget Lasses solo-version of Lennon-McCartneys "Here, there and everywhere" which made Jimi Hendrix radiantly happy!Do you have any more recordings with Lasse from Molde? He played there several times although he thought he would never be welcome again after having thrown in knives, spoons, forks and table-linen on the pianostrings....
Dear Mats, A fascinating coincidence. I'm happy this caught your friend's attention and brought you here. Your brother was an amazing musician (and they all sound fantastic here). Unfortunately, I only have this clip, I got it from a tracker, dimeadozen.org. There may well be more recordings from Molde and/or with your brother. I surely plan to listen to more of his music, but so far this is the only date I know. UPD: However, I've just checked dimeadozen for 'Lasse' and 'Werner', and it gives no relevant hits, alas.
Thanks dandan! I have two clips from one recording session on my TH-cam-page if you haven't seen them: I will try to fabricate some videos with existing sound recordings by Lasse. I just have to get familiar with the techique.... I believe one has to check not only for Lasse Werner but also for Lars Werner. I know for instance that some Finnish guy has published a track (Vår i Helsingfors = Spring in Helsinki) from a cd which is a powerful tune with among others recorddebuting Dave Liebman on sax. That record is called "Lars Werner och Hans Vänner".
Hi again! Just to let you know that I separated Lasses solo from your film, when he plays the Lennon-McCartney-song Here, there and everywhere: th-cam.com/video/ipp2Vnk_0ho/w-d-xo.html
please, please upload "flip flop" from the album if you have it!
Here it is: th-cam.com/video/6NLkIhtoY8M/w-d-xo.html (it's actually Flip Top)
