In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

The AI voice needs a dictionary or an English coach at least.

Absolutely horrendous video...

I very rarely press the dislike button, but this is one. I liked the video, but want to display my distaste of not disclaiming the use of synthetic voices. I highly support the use of AI and computer tools in content creation, but it should be monitored to be accurate, e.g. not pronounce GriGri GryGry, and disclosed in the credits or description. The video production feels incredibly low effort when there isn't even an attempt to fix mispronounciations in the AI generated voice. Especially considering how easy it is to record oneself reading a script improving quality significantly.

AI if it wasn't obvious.
