I keep hearing Ganna, Ganna...Bradley Wiggins says Ganna will break the record and that once he does, it will not be broken again!? Well...waiting, waiting....Campanaerts still holds the record. The record may fall to Ganna but another belgian will take the record back. Wiggins was always overrated.

How many hours did you do it in?
22 ish hours straight no sleep. I was winding down my racing for about two years before I did an everesting. It really won't help a racer in fact it could possibly become a big setback if an injury were to occur like what happened to me following. I purchased a recumbent because my back was sore riding an upright for about 2-3 months. Just being honest

@mindciller, I have exactly the same bike as you, with the same color wave, same components. I bought on1988 when I was in my High School cycling team. Stopped using after college, but kept it for all of these years in storage. A couple of weeks ago, I took it out of the plastic bag and to my surprise the frame, paint and components werein pretty good condition. I took it to the bike shop to put in a new chain, cables, seat and pedals, and now I am enjoying it again.

Thanks @frosty. Yeah I've really enjoyed riding to the mail box on this one. With the wide rear tire it coasts so nice. It handles really well and has a sporty feel to it.

Thanks it was a good spin session, I was feeling sad for the kid who died that made this song. He was really talented musician. Yeah one handed !,! It's possible by letting one string over your arm while the other spins in front being held. I called it a "black hole" .. Maybe I should do a tutorial on my "black hole

Yes. It is a great chopper. Nice seating position for an adult. some of my neighbor kids can't reach the pedals. I'm average height 5'9" inches

I still have the chopper. It's easy to ride. I'm 5'9" inches 180-190lbs. It gets the most attention of all my choppers even when they're parked side by side. This is a great looking bike in person

I bought it for $450 in Reno in 2016. They are much more expensive now. I keep seeing them for $2000 on eBay

My recommendation is, a 12 Volt deep-cycle used for lawn tractors would be your best source of power. They're not very heavy, unlike car batteries. A small .5 farad capacitor to regulate voltage demands would be a good idea as well. You'll need a trickle charger to keep the battery charged when your not riding since bicycles obviously don't have an alternator to replenish the battery.
Thanks @frosty's garage! I did go with a deep cycle mighty max wheelchair battery. So far at 75ah it lasts for freaking ever with this sub and amp plus two six by nines and two four inch. The bicycle is built now too just gotta chop a video together.

Recumbents demand a different set of muscles. You gotta develop these muscles in order to get faster on any recumbent.
