Currently, I work as an Advanced Practitioner at Nottingham College. I love teaching English, particularly English grammar.

One of my deadliest fault when I started teaching was my TTT. I was an explainer, I wasn't an enabler.
An easy mistake to make and a very common one too. Reducing TTT takes a lot of practice and goes against a lot of people's instincts, but once the skill is mastered, the benefits to the learners are huge. Hope your eliciting skills are much better now!
Thank you for the learning teaching lecture.
You're very welcome. I hope you've found it useful!

Hi Can you send to me some information about bad and good things for social media..and why you like and diss like?
Sorry, I don't quite understand. Are you asking me for my opinion on what I like and what I don't like about social media?
But mam what if we haven't any information or idea ? 1) If he attended the wedding then he might have met bride I don't really know whether he attended the wedding or not and i can't use any modals because to speculate any situation i will need some information about it. So could i use past indicative or my sentence is completely incorrect? 🙏
Your sentence makes sense! You're speculating on the possibility of him meeting the bride on the condition that he attended the wedding, which you are unsure of. You've understood it correctly 👌
@@englishwithzahra Wait i mean I'm not putting any condition like there is a wedding ceremony to be held and now I'm saying this? Noo there was a wedding ceremony that already completed but due to some reasons i couldn't go but I don't know whether my cousin attended that wedding or not and i didn't even call someone to get Idea at least. It looks like mixed conditnal but that's not the case it's all about real situation.. Okay I'll give another examples 1) If she went to the school today, then absolutely she must have shown her project (now I'm saying this to myself only, i really don't know whether she went today or not).
@@nirajthakor9748 yes, that's right. And I understood what you meant. The condition is that he went to the wedding, so if (on the condition that) he went to the wedding, he might have met the bride. If she went to school, she must have shown her project - you're not sure she went to school, but if she did go, you're sure she definitely showed her project.
@@englishwithzahra Oh thanks a bunch mam! And also totally understood now 🙏 But mam i want to know that why can't we use perfect modals in the main clause as whatever but we're putting future condition.. I'm asking this way because I'm non native so i feel tense as their primary usage. If he went to the wedding (here why do i feel like putting future perfect? I know it's wrong but i just want to be cleared my doubts) If he would have gone to wedding, he must have.. (If he went to the wedding in the past but I'm thinking this with FUTURE PERFECT TENSE) Just like this.. If he would have attended the wedding, he must have met bride Now you'll have to take logic from second clause to understand my question.. because as non native i think like that how we speculate... He might be at office (here we're saying because the fact is he isn't at home right now) He is not at home(fact) SO He might be at office ( here you will also be thinking with*FUTURE SENSE* ) and the only reason we have to use MODALS But what if I don't know about facts? Or we have to use just normal tense in the main clause!? He she came to our house, she must have gone back (because we're not at house) *Not if she would have come to our house, she must have had to go back (wait, mam I'm not using 3rd conditional, i hope understood my every points 🙏)*
@@nirajthakor9748 the reason is simple: in the 'if' clause, we never have will or would. That goes in the result clause. Watch my videos on 2nd and 3rd conditionals; they might help you understand better.
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching Samira! Hope it helped you 😊
Your efforts for this! ❤
Thank you! Hope you find my videos useful.
@@englishwithzahra Yup they really are! But on the top of that I really appreciate so much efforts put in it.

Thanks madam very nice class given by you, you can conduct topic wise tests, please
Thank you for your positive feedback! I'm sorry, I didn't understand your question, however. Could you possibly rephrase it?
Appalling explanation!!
Hello. Why is it appalling?
Too fast paced, Small font, using colours for colours sake, we do not teach wrong spelling, origin of homophones not explained, other important homophones not explained, etc.@@englishwithzahra
@@ahmedshahrourgrammar I'm sorry you feel that way. This video was made for a certain group of my learners, who found it useful and like this style. Everyone's tastes differ, but there's no need to be unkind if you don't like it. Just jog on and have a nice day.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome. It's coming soon! Hope you're doing well 😊

Glad you like the video. I hope it has helped you?

Would you please tell me about this sentence and should be explained correctly that what does it mean for example. I'm going to be meeting her .
"I'm going to be meeting her" is an example of future continuous. We use this to talk about an action that will be in progress at a specific time in the future. Does that help? You could also check out this video, which looks at different future forms, including future continuous: th-cam.com/video/OToVgFGG-84/w-d-xo.html
