After realizing there is more to life than just settling with what you’ve got and what is expected of you, I’m determined to help others in their 20s realize their own true potential and live a more passion-fuelled life by taking back control.
I’m going, to be honest with you I’m 27 years old, and achievement wise I don’t really have anything to show for myself, I entered the real world after college with no skills and no idea. I quickly discovered after bouncing from 1 minimum wage job to another that something is wrong.
Is this really what my life is going to be like?
But after seeing my wife quit Uni to pursue TH-cam and start her own business, I saw that life wasn’t just about settling with what you’ve got but it's actually possible to create your own path.
After seeing what is possible of someone close to me, I’m determined to experience, learn and share to help others in their 20s realize their own true potential, take control and live a life to be proud of.

I went everywhere with this to see if it made me happier
Can putting this in your pocket really change your life? I wanted to see if carrying a small reminder of important messages would help me in those moments when I need them the most.

I was about to quit Journaling.. But then something changed.
มุมมอง 404ปีที่แล้ว
I've tried journaling before and failed miserably. Honestly, I never thought I would be able to build the habit. I found journaling so boring and pointless. I could not see the point of journaling. I just thought journaling wasn't for me. Despite this, I decieded to give it another go because a load of people I admire journal and talk about how good the benefits are so I forced myself to give i...
I Failed at Self Discipline Until I Realised This

I had motivation all wrong… This is how it really works!

I was such a lazy kid growing up and it took me years to realise this simple trick to how unlock real motivation. In the past I felt like I was never in control of motivation. Maybe a good TH-cam video or a random conversation with some would motivate me. Or maybe I would motivate myself out desperation to sort my life out and get out of the slump I had gotten myself into. Switched to a Lightphone from my Samsung Galaxy. Honestly, the "difficulty" was much less than I expected. Love carrying things on me light a pocket flashlight and Mp3 player. Highly recommend.
I got flip phone for christmas because I am 11 and a half. And my parents dont trust me on a smart phone.
I'm at the same path to get rid from my smartphone and using internet 2-3 per week
Why don’t you just look on your laptop, if it’s going to rain and the temperature, in your area and wherever you’re traveling to. I mostly look up the weather, once a day. Or you could be similar to when I was in college, just always travel with a small umbrella. It definitely helped me, quite a few times.
my goofy ass was expecting a more technical review than a video about the human contition.
Can i be traced or does that companies collect data from my memory card if i use it or they collect mobile numbers, iam going to buy nokia keypad mobile, as i seen samsung is not safe. In modes and routines this cock*** comapny collectong all data and i am unable to stop it, it given no option
Just delete social media apps, OTT, and get a youtube premium. Be happy with your smartphone.
Wow he’s experiencing life like I did in the 80’s and early 90s. Being connected to the world right in front of you.
I get by fine in life without a cellphone. I can't stand the fucking things.
I think that the main problem with a smartphone is the screen. 10-15 years ago when smartphone displays were 3'-4' the screen on time was way less than it's today. Because for more "important" tasks everybody used a laptop or a TV (sending important e-mails with a 3inch screen isn't a smart choice; or watching a movie etc). So, if a company could make a "dumb" phone with a small screen, physical keyboard, but with android and all the apps that make life easier (like parking app or banking, whatsapp etc) then I would have no problem using it as my main phone. Right now, even if I would want to I couldn't, because these apps are integrated in our personal or work life.
Check out the CAT phone. Basically looks like an old school flip phone but with all the functionality of a smartphone
This is my iPad I have no emails linked to this or social media I hated how much time I wasted on it
Is there a phone that is dumb enough?
I quite fancy the idea. Watching this a year after it was posted are you still smartphone free?
Only smart phone is no phone ! Don't take a phone with you
I'm going to Australia and not getting a phone or SIM card.
I use my smartphone as a tool. It's my music player and offline navigation system. I have Whatsapp, but no mobile internet. So messages have to wait to be read until I'm at home. I think it's antisocial to read and answer messages while checking out at the supermarket or riding a bike. The messages can wait. If it would be urgent, people would call you.
I dont have a phone so big deal you guys act like its so amazing to not have a smartphone - its so pathetic
Which model Nokia is this?
Why let your partner do the mental work of keeping track of ‘what’s been happening’. I wonder if she was also without a phone or you wouldn’t have her to tell you what happens in the ‘digital world’, you would still be so comfortable being without a smartphone yourself…?
Great video my friend hello from Greece. As a dj is good to not using facebook and instagram? I use only youtube to upload my videos and djsets.
I needed this thank you
What is actually good about a smart phone. The novelty has worn out.
Smart Phone is a Google Tagging App.Corrupt and definitely " UNTRUSTWORTHY ..".
My next phone is a Dumb Phone 100%...Google is corrupt , criminal.

if I SIWTCH TO DUMB PHONE, HOW CAN I WATCH YOUR CHANNEL? AND IF ALL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WILL DO THIS, HOW COULD YOU MAKE MONEY IN YOUR TH-cam CHANNEL? there is no way we can avoid this... let's join the unstoppable. It is just a matter of self disciplining
we need you back on call of duty brother, it’s calling for you
How did you edited that Video???😂
Ok, i want to get a dumb phone, but i text and the flipphone i had was a bit difficult to use having to tap to get to the right alphabet character, is that still the same case?
Love you this video really helps ❤❤❤❤
Id prefer a dumb phone over an apple phone anyway.
There used to be a funny saying when the mobile phone was first invented: "Walking down the street and suddenly feel the intense urge to call someone. Said no one, ever"
You can still have a smart phone, cull down apps minimise time on them, and your good to go. No need for a dumb phone to be smart not to use a phone, if you want dumb phone, uninstall preexisting apps and don't download the social apps, just use what's necessary and resist the temptation to install. 😊
ok but what do you do at a restuarant that only has a QR code scan for a menu ? or in general want to put a flight ticket/qr code on the phone ? and google maps ?
What nokia phone is this in the video??
Do you carry your phone because you're using it? Or are you just using it because you are carrying it?
Ive just bought a Nokia 8210 (from 2000!) that still works in the uk until around 2033 when they turn 2G off here. And I've got a mighty 3 that i can sync with smart phone for music. My intention isnt to get rid of my smartphone. I need banking apps, 2fa and other stuff. But thats rare. Day to day I'll be using a basic phone and my music device. Notes into a notepad in my pocket. And my fuji camera when i want it. Ive realised that life when i was 15 was much simpler and arguably more enjoyable. SmartPhones aren't the issue - its our dependance on them really. I have GPS in my car, and i have music. Its all i need.
Ive been using my Nokia 3210 g4 for almost a week now, the ONLY issue I've come acrossed is my wife not liking it. She feels its embarrassing, inconvenient and old-timey. It honestly feels like arguing with someone who has a drug addiction trying to get me back into the thing I quit! Aside from this issue, I've never felt happier and less anxious in years! Any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated!
quality of video is amazing
I would take some kind of communication with me when on a hike or travel.
I've gotten into the habit of minimizing my use of the phone. I've removed ALL social media from my phone. I haven't felt more in control than now. All social media is confined to my computer. If a site prompts me to link my phone, I just leave. Life actually gets better. Start riding your bicycle more and your phone less. You'll be amazed at your findings. It's more peaceful.....aside from the numerous notifications that tell you that you've used your phone x amount of time less. It's hilarious. #UnplugAndLive
Guys, I actually got the idea of using the "dumb phone", and maybe even try to approach some firls with it (gym motivation is gonna be crazy) So, what phones could you recommend? I just want it to send/recieve calls and messages, and work with AT&T Probably somewhere under 100$
I never even considered anything other than my nokia phone, i do not need a smartphone. In fact a lot o people don t
never had a smartphone, i'm happy with my 14 yo dumb rugged phone. standby time is not as good as in the first 10 years, but still running with 1 (one) charge monthly. won't change it till it's running. and yes, i have friends, i have a job, i can find directions without gps, i use email, internet, sm, and i'm not a boomer :D it's only a matter of decision.
Very helpful!
Literally just ordered a flip phone today, I'm so done with this algorithmic nightmare
hey ! just a remainder start again its 2024 going to 2025
