As a new tank, I found this guide incredibly useful-clear tips for surviving those dungeons!

Two other things that I hope can help newer folks, even if it's more on the "sweaty" side. 1) 'Camera > Third Person FOV: 130'. Allows a much larger peripheral making it more effortless to spot things like distant interrupts. Keeping an eye on the sea orbs in Graven Deep for example can also be a lot easier. 2) 'Audio > NPC Subtitles: ON'. A lot of NPCs have concurrent dialogue with their mechanics, so you can immediately know what mechanic is happening regardless of where you are because it will be announced right above your active buffs.

Really good guide. I keep seeing questions in guild chat about this and people getting overwhelmed by gear choices or an overwhelming sense of responsibility for what happens in a group. You did a good job of simplifying and clarifying.

Tank: accidentally makes one minor mistake while having all the pressure on them. Dps: “KICK TANK” 😡

After a few hundred hours of tanking I got sick of bad healers. Now I run resto backbar and have full control of the Squishies in my dungeon runs. We might not have as many buffs running but 3dds works well for me.

I finally swapped from Tank to dps to now healer. I miss tank but there's nothing worse then doing a random vet daily, getting a hard DLC and having a cp 200 crew.

As a full time tank this video is accurate lol. I switched to pvp tanking. It’s much more fun and you have no sweaty people telling you what to do. I love not dying.
