Such a beautiful Building. I always thought churches were. And it is good to learn the historical significance of the building and the things it indulged. I would love it if you done more videos like this one, my only criticism is that the video was to short.

Excellent video, thanks for reminding me of the Roman and medieval remains to be seen in Colchester. Its been 12 years since I was there. 'Dick' Barton took me on a personal tour of the Norman Castle Keep which is built on the massive foundations of the Roman Temple and they are mind blowingly incredible. The foundation voids between the walling were originally filled with sand to give support but the idiot who was engaged to demolish the keep (the top story is now gone, was that in the late 18th century?) decided to make an extra buck by digging out the sand and selling it, and when the foundations started to shift he was told to stop. Concrete bracing in the "cellars" below now support the structure above; the keep was an inch away from destruction.
