@HJ10113 comin’ right up! I’d like to do a review on Sakura Genesis 2017 as well. I’ve been meaning to rewatch Okada vs. Shibata again. One of my top fav NJPW matches of all time! I might be a bit busy this week to watch and review SNME, but expect a RR review!

@ Yeah that’s fair. Saturday Nights Main event was quite a fun show imo but the Rumble should be great so looking forward to the review of that!

I can just imagine Drew being pissed that The Rock is taking the main event spot and takes him out backstage lol. That would be awesome now that I’m thinking about it!

@ I just really don’t think the Rock is going to be at Wrestlemania this year but I wish he was. Drew has his storyline right now of trying to take out all of the Bloodline and get to Roman so maybe they pay it off at Wrestlemania because I’m not sure what else Drew would do tbh.

@HJ10113 oh, that’s what Drew is doing now? I’ve only been watching Penta’s matches. I don’t really know what else has been going on this month tbh. 😅

@ Yeah he said he’s coming for them all, he took out Jimmy, beat Sami and lost to Jey (for some reason) so he could beat Jey before Mania and then face Roman at Mania maybe

@@AlakazamASMR I see your point about Drew and Punk, but they are both after the world title, so why not throw them into the title picture with Rollins. Their stories have been interwoven and it would create a more suspenseful/unpredictable match of who is going to win. I feel like that is missing in today’s wrestling.

@theasmrfanatic21 Very True, I feel like Punk & Drew have had such incredible chemistry I just want them both to have good spots at mania as they have been incredible talents as of recent times.

@ I don’t think you’ve ever reviewed it on the channel but I really like the variety and aesthetic of Wrestlemania 24. It’s got some of the best pyro and camera shots in company history imo and it’s a pretty fun show!

@ Ahh yes. In that case either Wrestlemania 19 or Wrestle Kingdom 11. Or if you want a show that’s lesser talked about but a bit hit and miss but has 2 really good matches then Extreme Rules 2016.

@ WM 19 got its own review video on my channel if you wanna check it out, but WK 11 is a show that I’ve been meaning to watch! Thanks for reminding me. I will be going backwards in time since I just watched Dominion 2017 haha, so that will be interesting. Extreme Rules 2016 is a show that I actually remember quite well, so I’ll see about getting a review up for it. I’m still pissed that AJ never got a win over Roman btw. 🙄

@HJ10113 ahhhh I see. Thanks for clarifying on both things! I do feel like the ZSJ and Ricochet stuff felt really last minute. The only match that made sense was Claudio vs. Shota, but even that could have had some better build to it. Also, how cool would it have been to have seen the House of Black face off with Bullet Club to build up King vs. Finlay? Tony Khan is so clueless.

@@Mo52076 I’ve missed you guys as well and sure thing! I didn’t watch it, but I’ll give my quick thoughts overall on it: - That Rock promo came off as very corporate-esque and felt super cheesy. It also made Cody look dumb as a rock for believing that he and Dwayne are buddies after all that they went through. - Thank goodness Rhea is the champion again. 🙌🏻 - JEY BEAT DREW?!?! bs 😤 - I’m glad that Punk beat Rollins. It was the right call in my opinion. Punk is clearly getting a push to challenge for the title and I am leaning towards him being the one to win the Rumble…that is if he can stay healthy. 😅

@HJ10113 tbh not so much. 😅 I am keeping up with the products, but my main focus has been on NJPW lately. The Royal Rumble is coming up, so I am getting excited for that and will hopefully get a review out for it. As for AEW, nothing is grabbing my interest that much besides of what Ospreay is doing. Omega being back is awesome, so I am curious about what plans are in store for him.

@ Yeah that’s fair. I think it’s a pretty down period for both companies right now. Hopefully Wrestlemania season and Kenny being back can inject some life into both companies.

@@will0940 2007 will always have a soft spot with me since this was my first full year of watching wrestling (started in late ‘06). I agree that there were a lot of problems and a bit of storyline mishaps that happened, but I just found the product to be so fun then. Also, I feel like I’m the only one who enjoyed Edge and Batista’s feud. 😅

@@theasmrfanatic21 yeah 2007 still had lots of good memories. Edge vs Batista was really good at One Night Stand though loved their steel cage match but they kinda goofed up that match at Night of Champions. I did enjoy the great khali winning the world title but his reign was short lived because he looked good with that World Title.

The bracket for the men’s King of the Ring is STACKEDDDDD! I unfortunately can’t watch it in real time, so I won’t be able to make review videos. I’m so pumped to go back and watch Ilja vs. Ricohet and Gunther vs. Sheamus tho!

I am curious to know what’s next for them. A gimmick overhaul might be needed like a more silent, sadistic type of attitude. Actually, I just want Kana back lol.

Yeah, you’re right. I couldn’t recall exactly what happened during that match. Still wasn’t a fan of how it was booked. It would’ve been SO much better if the final three were Cena, Michaels, and Angle! 😮‍💨👌🏼

@@theasmrfanatic21 yeah that would have been nice. Still either way one of them would have been screwed since Edge cashed in his “Money In The Bank” contract for the title that same night. That’s the only thing I didn’t really like you had a brutal elimination chamber match for the WWE title then Edge fucks it up in the end there. It would’ve been okay if he had cashed in the next night on RAW I just think they could’ve booked that better but I guess it would have made more sense. I still prefer the elimination chamber match from the previous year at NYR 2005 that was booked way better dude

Hahaha I remember that. 😂 Different times indeed! Yeah, I don’t know how I didn’t catch on to how WWE kept mentioning a person winning two years in a row. That was such a dead giveaway and Punk saying that at the end was unnecessary. In regards to the rumble match itseld and having come off from the high of it, I gotta kinda agree kinda with you. Didn’t hate it, but it just wasn’t as great as it could’ve been. Also, the thought just popped up in my head of how they could’ve had Ilja be an entrant and have him face off with Gunther. Instead of that, we got fucking Pat McAfee. 🙃

Oh wow I think I enjoyed a WWE PLE more than others for once lol. It could’ve been way better tho and some questionable booking decisions were certainly made. I’d say watch the women’s rumble more than anything. Definitely the best one yet imo!
