Ryan's shed plans are a scam. I paid for the VIP add on to get a free custom plan and although they said they received my information for a Lean-to Shed and that it would only take 6-8 weeks to get my custom plan it's almost been a year and I have nothing and they won't respond to me anymore. Do not buy because once you do you will get inundated with special offers but get nothing. I doubt there is a Ryan and I believe this is being promoted by a number of companies who only want your money for files that have been clipped from others.

I was suckered by this video. I subscribed to the plans and found that there are a few (maybe 10 plans that can be qualified as step-by-step). Otherwise the other "plans" are black and white, many are 1 page and barely readable as if someone faxed it and then copied it. Definitely not 12,000 plans. Support is non-existent. I submitted a complaint and 2 weeks later, no response. I've asked for my money back (still no response). DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

You spend a ton of time on the easy framing of the floor and walls and then the roof just magically appears? Did you use trusses or rafters and did you put in birds mouth?

Doesn't look like it's made for a beginner. If you've never done work like this, there's no way it will take you 2 days to finished something like that.

I have tried in vain to find any more than a few plans on my downloads. I have followed instructions, but have found almost nothing and was promised 12,000 plans. So far I have found maybe 5 plans. Either the site is really badly put together and impossible to use or I've been ripped off!

I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.

Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Woodglut. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.

Make it wooden with the help of the Woodglut instructions.

So, how many accounts do you have about Ryan's Shed Plans? Backyard Builder and Urban Craftsman for sure...why two accounts? I'm tempted to try it out, but this is about as scammy as it gets. What gives?

I bought Ryan's Shed Plans & there is a lot of good information in there. I am going to build a shed with my dad this spring while it's cool before the summer heat wave comes in. Thanks for the good content!
