RIP Sam, he passed away age 85 Jan 29th/022, a true original, will be missed.
I've loved Sam Lay's drumming for over 50 years!

I had the honor of seeing Sam play recently, and meeting him, Corkey and Frank Donaldson after the show. What a great bunch of guys. Sam was awesome.
Soon to be a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
