Derek, I just happenstance listened to The bears still suck on Spotify. I found it by searching the original and saw your version. So I clicked it just to hear what I thought was a cover song, your song legitimately brought me to tears. So I scrolled down to see what other music this person had, because the folk sound was amazing. And I saw your unbearded face on 'reach around point'. And I literally started yelling to all my family, "I went to high school with this guy". Sure as shit LIndy it was you. What a fucking small world it is. I live near Portland, and to randomly find a guy 'I' went to high school with from a town of 700 in bumfuck Sconnie is out of this world. You sound great bud. Keep up the work, you've got a new fan.
