Don’t know how any of the cast didn’t get bigger roles after the show in their younger years. Bunch of really beautiful people. I mean hello, Garret Wang’s people mag most beautiful men nomination!

    • @SubduedRadical
      @SubduedRadical 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Aren't Ferengi low-key stupidly strong? Like stronger in direct physical confrontations than Humans, they just have a low pain tolerance so they don't fight well since the first time they're hit back, they scream and retreat or surrender? Like when he and Odo are trapped on the planet and get into basically a fist fight, Quark kind of wins it outright.

    Jeffery Combs is a great actor. First saw him as the crazy doctor Herbert West in Re-Animator. But I like him best in DS9 and Enterprise. As the versatile actor in so many roles. Particularly as the clones of Weyoun. And in Enterprise as Commander Shran.

      I grew up on TOS and watched Voyager in its first broadcast run in the 90s as a teenager; I always thought it was cool to get a "pure" Vulcan's perspective after Spock's perspective of being trapped between cultures.

      My favourite with those two was in ‘The Ascent’ S5 when they were alone together in that runabout, and they had to crash-land on a Moon because of a Bomb that was implanted to try to prevent Quark from testifying at his Trial. They were really going at each other, trying to climb that mountain with Odo’s broken leg & carrying that heavy transmitter!

    Its sorta under appreciated why Worf is so annoyed and how amazing it is of Quark to Bypass Defiants Security. More amazing that he manages to play off how good he is with tech. Letting Rom to most likely take any fall he made. Sublime how they wrote him. Whoever penned his auction soeech needs a medal.

    It is possible to have meaningful interactions with co-workers, and from time to time you really do form life-long friendships. But it is useful to remember WHY you were brought together in the first place. There is a distinct difference between a "work family" and a "real family". One shouldn't sacrifice one for the sake of the other, but if ONE of them must go, it has to be the "work family". This is a bitter lesson for some people, but an important one.
