CasttoBP Working

Setting a delay of 0.1 before the destroy actor on the projectile BP, makes the blue Cast to BP node succeed like how the purple Cast to BP Class node was. Almost no cast fails happen now using the blue node. Thank you @livinfreestyle6727 for your input. I don't really understand why the purple node worked but not the blue node. This is all still very new to me.
Cast Failing

Using the purple Cast to BP Class node vs using the blue Cast to BP node. I'm not sure why it is failing so much since the projectiles are colliding with the target. Also there is a Print String bug where the "display name" renders invisible in editor but anything typed into "In String" will render like it should. I've tried restarting the editor multiple times and nothing seems to fix it it.

HW Mobile felt like the Homeworld 3 we had at home. And then we got Homeworld 3. I miss Homeworld Mobile.
There maybe a chance to mod the mobile missions into HW3 in the future. There's a Memorial mod rebuilding HW1,Cata & HW2 that will be a good template to build from when it is released.

Those WH40k fleet ships are the size of relics in HW lol love it!
Look at how tiny that mothership is compared to the gargantuan Warhammer 40k Imperial Fleet. Imogen’s, like, only a mere bumblebee to them. Bonus points: Relic, the developers of the original Homeworld, also made Dawn of War.

@@reviewchan9806 In this video I used audio files from the game instead of AI voice overs. The first one is from the intro, the second one is commander Enochs final message from mission 2 ending.
Homeworld 1: Released in 1999, still playable 25 years later. Homeworld Mobile: Released in 2021, unplayable by any means in 2024. And this is why PCs will always be superior to consoles or phones. They have a vastly longer shelf-life

Well done, so glad this stuff hasn't been lost completely, Gearbox has a lot to answer for.... That was the last mobile game that had any worth to it, and now, we're left with nothing..... KEEP GOING BUDDY, KEEP AMAZING, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK:-)

this is a great idea ive been thinking about try something similar as well. basically writing a fiction story but then using ai to create a video for it with voice over. i read that Nvidia has finally figured out how to get ai image gen to remember and reuse the same character in multiple scenes without it looking like a different person every time so we are getting close to a level of ai tech that will be able to make entire movies soon i bet

Nice video but for some reason the way the camera pans around gives me motion sickness and I can't watch it anymore T-T I'm 99% sure its because of the background
@@1MinuteGaming I agree the background is jarring to watch. I replaced it, but I'm still working on the final version. Hopefully it won't give you motion sickness like these.

The idea that they would be able to sustain a mobile game in a separate disconnected universe was garbage from the first place. This game is really niche.

The ships at 3:20 and from 4:40 to 10:00 remind me of the ghost ship from the first game. 8:50 in particular.
@@MaximusLight I can see the similarities. I have the ghost ship model also.
Both galaxies were connected once, before the gates stopped working the first time. Maybe an ancient Tanoch ship somehow managed to cross and ended up stranded.
Is there any chance you could shared the source of these models (or share a link to them if they're yours)?
The meshes, textures & music were extracted from the game files with asset ripper, then loaded into Unity for exporting as .fbx. I have a link to an older .blend file, but the textures aren't setup completely or packed into the file. I plan on sharing this one after I finish doing renders.

I'd like to make most of them with real-ish projectile ballistics. This is my first time getting into it, so I'm not sure how taxing it is yet. I should have the targets from mission 1 working soon.

I know the scout is probably the next logical item to work on the sound for at this stage, but the carrier really needs its HW1-Classic "ROARMmmmmmrrROARMmmmmmrrrROARMmmmm" sound. :)
