Masha Allah. The explanation about time, essentially time is relative and Allah refers to time as we understand for our understanding, however, for Allah SWT, time is not as we know it, subhan Allah. The explanation about the spherical nature of earth is, subhan Allah, amazing and undeniable by even the most well versed in scientific academia. The explanation by the sheikh reminds me of the fact that the gradient of a curve at a point on that curve is that of a tangent to that curve. Again, for a object or person to be on that point on the curve, his/her observation of the plane would be flat due to the relative size difference and spatial reference. Again, a well established phenomena, confirmed in aerospace and even using mathematics. Those who understand mathematics, will be familiar with infinitesimal points on a curve! The Quran is relevant and accurate in evey era, Allahu Akbar. May Allah SWT give this sheikh taufeeq to give us more lectures as the one he has uploaded. Jazak Allahu kairan, sheikh.
