It is a big help for sure. He might be the quickest 6”8 player in the country. I’m a little hesitant to ranking them in the top 20, just because it is all new pieces coming together. Going to have to see them all play together. I think Cal has done a great job though so far, especially with recruiting veteran guys. It’ll be easier to work together with guys who have some legit experience

I definitely believe it is a top 15, probably even top 10 roster in the country right now. The addition of Hatton would definitely make it a top roster in the country. I just need to see Woodson really put the pieces together and prove to be an elite team before moving them up too far right now

I would love if they got a top tier big man for sure. Even without one, I would still have them at 4. Withers and Washington are much better than people realize. They are both 6”10 and incredibly efficient. Without Bacot eating up all the minutes, using both of them, I think they will both take massive leaps this year

Not quite yet. I really like Kelsey and the roster but i’m going to have to see them play first. Right now, I would prefer Arkansas and Kentucky’s roster, but would not be surprised by the end of the season if Louisville is the best of the 3. Pat Kelsey is a fantastic coach

@@Bracketsscience As a startup CBB channel, I think you did a pretty good job here ... Taking a stab at the top 10 on each team was a bit of a gamble, but I didn't notice anything that was questionable ... As I said, I'm IU fan ... I think they're a top-25 team right now "on paper" ... maybe better, possibly much better ... but for now, they're still just an "on-paper" team.

They should still be good I would think. Just one of those programs that puts together the pieces every year no matter what roster they have. Brian Dutcher does a phenomenal job.

I agree with this comment. I do believe the coaching change was the right move for both parties it was just strange to me how everything occurred afterwards. Personally, I am glad they landed on Pope because I think he is a terrific guy and I would like to see him move up the ranks. The track record is the only thing that was strange to me, because he did seem to be their 4th choice or so. It is going to be a tough task this first year to put together a tournament team so I am hoping that BBN cuts him some slack if the first couple years aren’t great. It’s a long process but i’ll be rooting them on along the way. I appreciate the comment!

Big matchup for sure. Pitt just not quite on the bubble yet. Wake Forest is, but they need a quad 1 win very bad, but a win at home over Pitt would be quad 2. Definitely one to watch out for though!

@@Bracketsscience Pitt has 3 quad 1 wins at this point, all on the road. They are absolutely a bubble team. They also have a better profile than Wake.

That is the one game that is outlier. That is the only ranked game that Iowa State has won on the road. Not hating on them, it is just extremely difficult to win on the road in the Big 12. They also lost 2 of 3 neutral site games in the ESPN Invites. I still ranked Iowa State higher than TCU in the Big 12 rankings during this show because of that win and I do believe them to be the better team.

I love watching blue blood games because when they are on the road, the underdog wants to beat them even more and it creates a crazy environment with the fan. I always root for first time teams to answer your question. I absolutely loved seeing FAU do what they did last year! Great question!
