Hi I have been in the makeup industry for over 22 years. Retired for 20. I was able to look at that palette and know it wasn't for me. I'm a tad lighter than you. If the color could be used wet, you could intensify them. But just on their own ... no. But thank you for the sharing of information regarding what brushes to use. That as you saw could make or break a look. Looking forward to more of your reviews.

I have the tartlette palette and I love it. I can honestly say that none of the colours are the same as in their other palettes. I was surprised when I tried them side by side.

Which color of the Iila bronzer did you get? I was interested in it but several people said it was too shimmery

My favorite cleanser of all time: IS Clinical Cleansing Complex. Doesn’t dry out my skin. Doesn’t leave a residue. Glides perfectly with my Foreo. Leaves my skin feeling clean.

I need to try that Coola sunscreen. I can never find anything that absorbs like a lotion…but still prevents tan. I seem to tan more in the areas I apply sunscreen. 🤔 Love your nails! Please share more info in your nail care/routine!

Wow, that shade is a total your-lips-but-better for you. I think I'd love it too. Your haircolor is gorgeous; on the brow tint, I like to match my hair to my brows most of the time, and then have fun with new brow product shades. And it would certainly further enhance the beautiful warmth of your eyecolor. But I think you could just buy a dark auburn brow wax and/or pencil & see how that feels first; if you have a similar shade in one of the MUFE pencils, you're halfway there now.

Thanks for the pep talk about moisturizing your body 😅 I'm so bad at that a need a good reminder every so often! The Prequel products get such great reviews from just about everyone.

I agree about From the Garden! Green tomato leaves are one of my favorite smells in the entire world. I love the green-ness of From the Garden but it definitely wears down to mostly patchouli after only a little while. That being said, I do enjoy the fragrance. I bought the candle too but haven't burned it just yet.

This eye look is beautiful! I picked up that Nabla lip liner on your recommendation and I love it. It’s a close dupe for my favorite NYX lip liner that they have supposedly reformulated and ruined lol, so it really came into my life at the right time.

I think I’ve gone a bit more maximalist this summer in that I just wanna wear aaall my make-up all the time 😂 I’m doing the labor of love it project pan which is also contributing to this mindset, but also the fact that the Danish summer so far is just rain. At least my makeup isn’t melting off!

I’ve been loving my Spring Magic blush palette too! Especially the red shade. 100% agree Sigma Tint is the best oil shade I’ve found. It does not leave my purse.

All four scents are very nice. I love Capri lemon 🍋 Maldives my least favourite . The banana note in Maui is so nice and not artificial. Wish they had a bigger bottle of Capri.

They new gold palette seems like it’s for fairer skinned people, while the original seems more inclusive and beautiful for deeper skin.

Thanks so much for this helpful review and comparison. I’m skipping this as I don’t really need more eyeshadow, but I also don’t need a colour story that no longer makes the most of my skintone. The last ND midi palettes I bought were Dream and Yucca. Everything since has been too light or cool for me.

Would be very excited to see you try out the Lisa Eldridge lip pencils (for science of course haha).

Love that you made this kind of video, sometimes the stables are more important than the “fun” products ☺️ I also discovered velvet puffs last year and they are a game changer for using powder, especially since I have dry skin 👏 Also, an unsung hero for me is any kind of luminizing product to put under your foundation (elf halo glow, becca backlight, charlotte tilbury etc) since it means my base always looks nice 😍
