Lithium used to be channel 24? It's been on channel 34 since the day I started listening to it and that was years ago

I've had several Sirius radios. All fine not a single issue. Radios not made to survive military ruggedness. Prevent vibration issues, secure wires with a dab of silicone to a common solid surface close to the SP5 receiver in rough applications. Satellite signals sensitive to moisture so when under leafed trees or hilly terrain sigs will drop out occasionally.

I do that repair on eBay. Just search for "Antenna Not Detected"

I've had my sportster 4 since they came out. just now finding the battery has died. never have had any issues.

I've had 3 Sirius radios, 6 or 7 different antennas, and 4 different docks over the years. Every single set up sooner or later, usually sooner, gets the X. Antenna not detected. When you're the only company in the business you can sell crap, price gouge, provide lousy customer service, and then tell you the product works fine so just pay more for another one. Nothing we can do if we don't have other satellites. It's a cartel.

I had the same issue...Found someone on ebay that fixed me right up, works great. Also use the line out option...the fm option is not good. These folks hooked me up for $34 the ebay item number the currently have (10/15/2013) is 360705433580.

I think you people just abuse the damn thing. I bought the Onyx months ago and I have it installed in my semi. My receiver is just fine and peiple who knows trucking knows that everything inside of our trucks takes a lot of abuse.

Contact your state Attorney General's office and file a complaint!!!

It's an expansion/contraction problem. The connectors cannot keep proper contact as the unit heats and cools. The idiots at Sirius will simply tell you to buy a new radio. I've actually filed a complaint with my states Consumer Fraud agency. You should as well. Sirius KNOWS this is an issue and refuses to fix it.

also line out works 100 times better then the fm modulator

make sure when you take the radio out you grab both sides of the radio and pull straight up, also lock the switch on the back while driving

Screw Sirius. Now you are only allowed 3 radio transfers with a lifetime sub. assholes. They make their stuff faulty and this way they can screw you. There needs to be a class action lawsuit. SO DIRTY!

take computer speakers to them u can use a sup with it too.

The antenna Issue is with the Antenna Connection on the Receiver, not the Docks. I have 2 radios that do this. I use mine in Both cars, a work truck and a BoomBox Dock at home. I bought the second radio to replace the first one and it started the same shit so i ended up fucking with the connection on the Receivers, so far so good... Sirius Hates us Lifer Subscribers, why help us they already got all the money they will get out of us...Why not sell us new Chinese hardware when the old shit dies?

I Have 2 of these models. The first died after 2 years, so i bought a new one and transferred the licence for free then 13 months later the second radio started the same shit. called sirius and got some dumbshit on the phone who claimed it was an isolated incident and that they have never had this prob with other customers? after arguing and being real pissed. i decided to fuck around with the old receiver and just "widened" the pins out on the antenna connection. now the radios work. FU Sirius

I also had the display show: "No antenna detected." I use mine in a semi. Lots of jarring...and docking/un-docking. Now I know, what a piece of JUNK this really is. I have NOT called Sirius yet...I have heard BAD stories from their customer service. Oh well.... I wedged a paper-clip on the lower right side, between the dock, and player. It seems to help keep the signal...and better. I would NOT recommend this unit to ANYONE!

I had that model and it kept losing connection to the terminal

I have an xpress rci xm receiver. I was great for the first year and a half, then the screen went black and it died. Every xm reciever I have ever had lasted less than 2 years. And they are not cheap.

I have one of the old Sirius Streamers which I've had for about 7 years. At the time it was the only radio you could buy for Sirius. I've gone through a couple of antenna's but the radio always worked great up until the past couple of days. I think it's finally showing its age and starting to go. It may be bigger and bulkier but it was reliable for all of these years, kinda sad really. Anyways I think I'm going to have to get a new radio soon now but not sure which one to get.

Connect directly to the radio. Don"t use the FM modulator. And stop messin with the radio I'm tring to jam out.

why are you using the FM radio? it just sounds lijke signal interference to me, what i would suggest is getting an aux-in kit, look for FRDR-aux kits, best things in the world/

take it to bestbuy.

Fn sucks, my radio had the same problem and finally broke yesterday.

Update, Sirius still wont do anything, i installed a new fm modulator and to solve the antenna problem I put a zip tie around the top of the receiver and around the base to keep it from rattling and losing its connection. Works like a charm and I don't have to buy a new receiver. FU Sirius I dont have to buy a new reciever and transfer everything. Looks like I'll get a few more years out of this one. Thanks for your bad customer service!
