Following the Sherco up a fun rocky single track
Was this recent? Weather and trail conditions look good. I love all the granite ya got there.
@@BrandonBorrows thanks! That was from Saturday November 9th
Nice, I want to make it out there one day. It was all thick nasty mud today up here in the panhandle Idaho. Snow most of next week. I fear my season is coming to an end.
This looks hard Where is this at?
Love your content man. That TC 250 loves to lug all day! Great riding
@@MichaelBerg615 thank you much! The bike really works well.
Great riding! What mods do you have done to your tc to ride this terrain? Have you had any issues with the MX style gearbox and 1st being to tall? Looking at getting one of these myself!
@@disanti44 I have a bunch of mods but IMO, you just need the FMF Gnarly pipe and to gear down. I ride 6-10k elevation and run 12/50. I also have an RKT head and TSP PV cover but they didn’t make a noticeable difference. I also revalved for my rocky trails. I actually prefer the MX 5 speed on everything except dirt roads and really tough hard enduro stuff.
Very cool. All those rocks must look amazing in person.
Can you please tell me where this trail is located at? Looks to be in Colorado somewhere but I could be wrong.
@@21AirDrop Bozeman, Montana area
What area of the state are you guys in here? I’m over in the south east corner.
@@shawnh2590 I ride all over the state but live in Three Forks.
Fantastic! I really enjoyed those views. Very majestic. Great riding. The downhill ride with engine off is something i like to do just to enjoy the silence and hear the bike sounds without the engine idling. Thanks for sharing.
@@scottbolen5246 thanks for the kind words!
Looked like the normal way to do a switchback? Hard to tell with the camera angle
IMO that’s the toughest spot to run cleanly
Cool!
Perfect terrain
Good stuff. Been watching your videos all summer. What made you choose the TC250? Looks like you’ve been enjoying it.
@@BrandonBorrows in 2023 it was $2200 cheaper than a TX300. Now that the XC/TX/EX have spring forks I will probably get a 250 XC or 250 EX or TX300 next time. I do like the mx 5 speed better than the 6 speed in my 18 XC-W though. Might have to get a 25 250 XC as they are the only bike that has a new close ratio 6 speed.
@@Montana_Motorized Ah, makes sense. Been wanting to get one of the new TBI bikes this year but have been somewhat torn between TE and TX 300.
@@BrandonBorrows if hard enduro is what you ride mostly, I think the mellower TE might be advantageous but the extra 7 hp and cleaner stock mapping adds more fun factor. I would never buy a TE but I like a nice mix of technical single track and some flow. I prefer to not lift and push my bike all day. A little here and there is fun though.
@@Montana_Motorized that’s a good way to put it - I currently ride a ‘13 300RR. I’d probably feel right at home on the TX. I like a good mix of trails across the state line over here in ID but still in my exploratory phase out here.
Holy throttle twitch bro! Let it eat! Or maybe you've got bad fuel? "The Lumberjack" -Jackyl.
Terrific video,great skills
Tabacco roots? Curly lake trail?
Dang what area of Montana is this

@@pabloalonzo2151 I picture similar things. Always wanted to visit and will some day. I don’t think I could live there and deal with the bugs though!
Great ride and trail. Nice end at a lake.
yeah super Fun 👍2t💨
Lets see the video of you riding up..
Wow they did a lot of work on that trail.
Wow they did some work on that trail. Post a vid of the next section too. i would like to see it.
@@travisryan1695 next section is coming soon
Should be panning for gold in that stream
Your Husky ate up those rock sections like breakfast. Nice ride!
Beautiful
Cool, I remember my first time riding. ❤😊
Crawl mode looks handy
Great video! This is the technique I mostly use. I once met a guy to ride with, and he downplayed his skill level, but on our first ride he handled switchbacks by doing STOPPIES on his front wheel and then he used body english to pivot the mid-air rear wheel around the turn! I was out of his league.
What's with the constant throttle blipping?
Very annoying!
Awesome video! Downhill switchbacks can be such a pain, I love seeing different techniques. That was a great teaching video!
Hi 🙋♂️ what about fuel consumption in comparison with carbi beta? 🤔 big fuel tank vs your great tbi system….
@@martinkadlecek5593 pretty similar with proper jetting and the float height set. So far the biggest downside to the TBI is the spooge. Drips oil down the muffler and onto the swingarm and brake caliper. Which is odd because it runs very clean and crisp IMO.
🤙
Rode this one on Friday. It was 100 yards of brutal
Super cool. Sometimes the decent is tougher than going up.
Great ride and the views are spectacular. Its a privilege to be able to ride in such a beautiful place like that.
Man those were rough.
TC is more for the track , how does it operates in woods ?
@@mesrineqcc.2086 fantastic! 1st could be lower for hard enduro and a 6th for road transfer sections wouldn’t be bad but neither one is a big chunk of riding. I like it better than my 18 250 XC-W.
Who wants to be in the woods and hear this AHole
You’ll burn ur 1st or 2nd gear doing that man. Give more power or less power but keeping it going weerreereereereeeerrrr ain’t good
I used to ride single track outside of Kalispell near Ashley Lake. It was often tough going, but damned fun!!
The throttle is on the right, twist it! It makes everything smoother.
@@ODTB tried that and about got bounced off the trail. Might of worked better going uphill instead.
Nice, Montana looks like a nice place to ride.
Looks like a fun trail. I rode once up around Havre with a borrowed bike after some heavy rain. I ran across a plain and got my buddys bike stuck in some deep mud. What neck of Montana is this at?
What great views you have there. The arch was pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
Little belts?
Is that one of the battlecross fronts ,, I was thinking of getting the x20
@@williamlemunyon411 yes. I have not tried the X20 but I didn’t care for the X30. I really like the M59 and this X31 just feels like an updated version of the M59.
I tried m59 ,, didn't care for it .. All the enduro guys here in NJ praise it .. I took it off after 3 rides. Looking for something new . been running starcoss5'. Just thinking they changed compounds after bringing the 6 on market .
@@williamlemunyon411 IMO the SC6 is a downgrade. It is too hard for the rocks I ride. I like the 5 better. I like the Goldentyre GT216 too. I don’t mind the MX33 but haven’t tried the MX34.
Great riding and control on a goat trail. Thanks for sharing.
Honestly, who takes a pick and shovel up there and carves out a trail like that lol?
@@ThisTall I’m not sure but I’m happy you can dirt bike it!
Nice riding!!! Where is this near? Is there any easy ish single track out there?
