Pegasus 50 - Easy and safe shorthanded sailing - Safety
Simple, straightforward sailing solutions provide easy and safe shorthanded boat handling. Sailing functions are moved away from the cockpit seating area. The main sheet arch above the cockpit keeps the highly loaded and dangerous main sheet away from the cockpit. Sailing Pegasus is safe in all weather conditions, even single-handedly and in every ocean.
Pegasus 50 - Gimbaled Settee - Comfort
GIMBALLED SETTEE mechanism keeps the saloon sofa and table in a leveled position even when the boat is heeled. This is especially important for long ocean passages, when working and sleeping on a levelled surface substantially reduces fatigue. The folding and electrically operated dropping saloon table provides easy seat access or delivers a king size lounging couch.
Pegasus 50 - Navigation station - Safety & Comfort
Inside navigation station with full visibility forward and all instrumentation and sailing controls for comfortable and safe navigation. Specially designed navigation seat is oversized for short naps during night watch.
Pegasus 50 - Technical lockers - Safety & Quality
The technical compartments are spacious, split by function and easy to reach, so maintenance and repairs can be done comfortably without the need for crawling into or working in tight spaces.
Pegasus 50 - Connected cockpit and salon in one living space - Comfort
Reduced height between cockpit and saloon level to two! steps only and lots of handholds make moving on board safe and easy.
Pegasus 50 - Protected Cockpit - Safety
The HARD TOP ABOVE COCKPIT and glass windshield protect the cockpit from the harsh environment including sun heat. Sliding windshield windows, roof hatches and foldable cabrio roof provide light and fresh air when needed.

crazy
The comment about the master cabin being the "center of gravity" is really the center of effort. Likely due to lost in translation, as english in not his native tongue. Great interview with him and about the boat.
Love this boat, excellent layout.
Can you also close off the back for when the sun comes from the stern? Before or behind the steering wheels.
Nice blue, old lemans(gulf) almost, love to see the rest lemans colors blue /orange black white trim
Heads wet locker fwd I don't like, crew will be walking through entire living area with their wet foulies. Also sleeping areas fwd in the areas that generally have higher movement/motion is not so cool. I think the boat is stunning, would change a good few things for long distance cruising, ditch the carbon mast, ditch rod rigging if she has it. Look at a possible shallow draught option, don't trust the door to the saloon in a following sea.
itally lol.. mini master chef station
When will you make a Pegasus 60?
60+ is on the drawing board. If you are interested in more details please send me and email ... pegasus-yachts.com/the-team/ Thanks and kind regards, Miha
Waiting for the Pegasus 60.
2:34 those steps are ridiculous :/
Welcome to come and test it by yourself ...
Compare this to a Hylas 49. Call up the video on Fetching Lights, then have an opinion.
Lp, Miha
Barca meravigliosa. Prima o poi ci incontreremo.🥰⛵️
Grazie, non vedo l'ora di incontrarti!
I wonder that why nobody cares about helmsman's need for shade... Do we have to use some towel clapped between rigit-top bimini and backstays all the time? we the guys are mostly the guys who actually pays for the boat and yet we the guys are left alone under the mediterranian sun as well, whether we ride a 100K€ 30ish entry level cruiser or a million $ 50+ luxury sailor LOL
We have the cabrio roof extension attached with the zipper, but yes, it's attached also attached at two points to the backstay. It could be installed all the time or permanently, but then you have an obstructed view of the sails ... And on P50, you spend most of the time in the cockpit under the cockpit roof, which is permanently installed and gives you great sun protection.
I actually really like this save for two things that really stand out Im not a fan of non solid life line and barriers and the only other having to step over every door way just begging for MAD late night toe stubs soooo many
I wonder this ocean yacht is not equipped with a washing machine. Desalination station? Air condition? Internet? Dinghy/motor crane? All of this the owner will need to install in a "non-factory way", including finding a place, providing kingstones, ducting and cabling. A questionable choice of lazy bag instead of furling into the mast for the declared short-handed crew. Other than this - I like it!
nternet should not be a huge issue with Starlink anymore
Should be easy options for a different buyer to put in all these features you mention.
@michroz, actually, everything you mentioned is in the standard specification of Pegasus 50. Besides the washing machine, air-conditioning, water maker, Wi-Fi, and dinghy with electric motor (which goes into the garage - no need for a crane or davits), the standard are also LiFePo4 batteries, induction cooker, generator, hydro generator, solar panels, full navigation equipment with three plotters, two autopilots (drives and computers for redundancy) and Starlink is optional (not everyone needs it) but it has dedicated place integrated into the cabrio roof ... Carbon mast is also standard, and to have good main sail in mast furling is not an option. This lazy bag is very wide and big; the sail just drops in, and you flip over the cover; no zipper or climbing on the boom is needed. And all the lines for reefing go to the cockpit, so it is easy & safe also for single-handed sailing.
Starlink is not standard, but it's and option. We have dedicated integrated place for the Starling and we install it for those who want's it
All the mentioned systems and equipment is already included and installed on every Pegasus 50. Some other options for specific needs we can install for the owner during the build of the boat.
The galley is nice with the big extra work surface under the cockpit seat. Great idea
Interesting boat, but only 2.5 cabins in a 50 foot hull... Hm...
Depends on your needs. Usually, P50 is enjoyed by two + two guests. The layout can have three cabins or only one ...
Looking good, 1.2 mln euros is not a bad result for this boat
Thank you! And it comes fully equipped with, delivered, tested ... not a lot to add, just some things for more special needs.
Look here, from very critical professional boat appraisers from Germany. They have inspected the boat and it is doing very well. Nice boat. th-cam.com/video/ukOelSj5VDg/w-d-xo.html
Let me know when a 65’ version of this boat comes out.
On the way. In very the early stages ... please contact me directly if you would like to get more information
Sem videl en posnetek transferja. Deluje odlično. Bi bilo zanimivo preizkusit.
Hvala. Dobrodošel v Kranj ali Izolo ..
@@PegasusYachts V Izoli je v vodi? Jo ima tudi kak charter?
Naša demo P50 ima stalni privez v Izoli. Kadar ne jadra je tam. V charterju je pa ni.
Wonderful yachts. How much?
It comes fully equipped, delivered, commissioned, tested ... for 1,25M€. More you can see in the test from Toby Hodges on Yachting World channel th-cam.com/video/salmqrQOHxE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ndz7bFBe1v-aYVzA
The anchor looks tight to the bow. How has design worked thus far?
Pretty well and the bow has a protection just in case.
If you really insist, I’ll accept your gift. Thank you ! ❤ 😊
Want Sail it ...
Great !👍
Pretty fine 😊👍💪
Is that the Warwick Collins Tandem keel?
Not really. Here is a bit more about our tandem keel th-cam.com/video/a0D9RvIGcUs/w-d-xo.html and please contact me directly if you would like to get more details.
Awesome. I circumnavigated on a 48ft yacht with my family. This yacht looks like an awesome choice for the next round with the kids only visiting.
Thank you :)
Nice, i wrote three times to Marco and to the shippyard itselfe….no reaction at all. It seems they dont want to sell.
Hi @rolfsenn8152, can you try again (miha@pegasus-yachts.com). I'll gladly answer any of your questions and share more information. Thanks and kind regards, Miha
Art & Functionality Beautiful Respect and support
I will definitely buy your boat, but not until you start making wide windows on the starboard and port side. I have been in your boat and it is extremely dark inside. Also you need to remove those outdated and ugly doorways inside the boat. You may think my words are picky, but I am looking for a boat for a long trip and living and I like your boat very much in terms of sailing, but not in terms of a comfort living space. But the cockpit and galley are quite awesome👍
Thanks, @asirisjoy, for your comments. Actually, we now have hull windows as a standard. What would be the doorways you like? Where and which Pegasus 50 did you visit, I don't remember that we met? You are welcome to visit our Shipyard and one of the new P50 with the hull windows.
Congrats 😀
A great boat to circumnavigate the world in. I just need to win the lottery.😊
Very good
That was an interesting view about nothing, apart from hype
very well thought.. beautiful.
😎
Beautiful yacht 🎉
Fantastic overview. You had me at dog! I’m loving the Pegasus 50. I want to sail the world short handed, possibly solo, with performance safety and comfort. This looks to be one of the most interesting yachts on the market today. Slightly intrigued by the keel, would like to see a video on the thinking behind the design and also I see it is bolted on…..I’d be interested to know, given the massive weight in the keel as a percentage of the overall boat weight, the engineering around the keel to feel completely safe and comfortable that it is totally secure?
Thank you, @jimheaven. Contact us by email or phone, and we'll share the details about the keel.
Great !!! Your gimbaled dinette would have been perfect when we sailed our Camper & Nicholson from Tahiti to Hawaii on our way to Vancouver: During the whole passage, we were on the same starboard tack, more or less from 18° south to 20° north 😄😄😄
It's almost comical, but practically all boatyards in Slovenia are in the mountainous region, one even in a narrow alpine valley...
💕 Wow💚💚💚💗💚💚💚
A true beauty ... and one that should sail really well. Congratulations. BTW - swinging the bottle against the keel was neat ... ;-)
Will that boat heave to with that keel?
I bought a tandem keel from Warwick Collins in the UK many years ago, and fitted it to a 21 foot bilge keeper. Chopped the bilge keels off, bolted the tandem keel on, and the boat was greatly improved. I think it works, too.
Felicitations, Nico!
Beautiful! Saving my nickels and dimes.
