Took the Jonny boat out for its first fishing trip. Lost a rod, lesson learned. But ended up been a good day . Caught lots of small ones but left with 3 keepers. This video shows a close up of how I was able to mount my trolling motor onto the bow of my Jonny boat. This was requested by a subscriber and I hope this helps you and anyone else that may run across this video. I am no expert I am learning as I go. Advice is always appreciated. Enjoy

Here’s an update on the progress of my Yak. I’ve added the Minn Kota 34lb thrust trolling motor mounted onto a Newport Vessels transom mount. Power coming from a 52 AH Tracker Lithium battery. Stay turned for more updates.

A little tip I got from an OG To keep your fish alive on the stringer is to hook them thru the bottom lip and not thru the gill. They will keep better

Just got me one going to b putting that 2.5 outboard wondering what website did u order the steering kit
💯. That’s the next item on my list after I get the gps unit for my trolling motor. I actually caught my steering kit for a bargain price along with the bare boat. A kayak dealer near me was moving to a new location and was giving sweet deals so they wouldn’t have to move a lot of thing’s to the next location. But the company name is waterwaysusa. They have many locations and a website. I think right now they’re doing a summer sale it’s like 140 opposed to 175 till the end of July. The code is (MidSummer Sale)
