The Missing Spring washer discovery.
So I found the probable cause for the clacky CG250
It was not clutch basket...though that was a discovery that needed amending too.
The problem was a missing spring wash that keeps the cam followers from slopping about.
It appears to have fatigued and been eaten by the cam gear...
Also 1 of the push rods was slightly bent
I have since replaced the offending parts and the engine is running much better...

Bad Clutch Basket found

Trying to diagnose my clacky CG250 engine... I think I found the issue with a sloppy clutch basket. Will swap the basket/clutch from a parts engine over to see if the problem gets fixed.
169FMM CB250 Engine runs but has Issues

Got the CB250 Zongshen installed and running. However the clutch is stuck and there is some significant blowby... All gears seem fine. Tank does make contact with the valve and CDI covers... Would take some service work...but has potential.
CG250 Big End Failing?

Could this be the end for the GC250 engine? A definite clacky knock coming from the lower engine case area. I suspect the bottom end bearing is giving up.
XL185 CG250 Swap

Installed BOAO CG300 70mm piston big bore kit. Stock cam followers and pushrods. Also frash wrapped header pipe. Still might need some carby jetting tuning, but the bike is running well.
CG250 Lives Again

Saved the CG250 after a catastrophic head gasket failure... Used parts from another broken engine to save this one used in my XL185 CG250 swap project. DIY 1mm thick copper head gasket Also installed Cam rollers on stock Timing cam profile using shorter pushrods to compensate. Engine revs again for another day... Yes my camera work is poor...

My method of building an aquaponic system using the common international bulk container (IBC) that's a bit different to the majority of systems being built. My method allows for easier more uniform system expansion. As the individual unit can be lined up side by side in multiples resulting in simpler plumbing. Which is somewhat more aesthetically pleasing too. Much less infrastructure/materials...
