I was actually just thinking about this the other day haha, how I haven’t straightened my hair in a long time. Ya, sure! I’m not sure when the next time I’ll have a reason to do my hair will be but it should be soon lol

@@simplybrislife8602nice lol I was thinking about how much your hair has grown since you cut it last back in 2022 it’s gotten so long!! You should definitely straighten it and wear it down more often! Are you still growing it out? I miss your long straight waist length hair that’s my favorite style on you!! I love how fast my hair seems to grow haha it makes it easier to try out different lengths & big cops since ik it will grow right back. I do love my long hair tho & yes I’m trying to grow it out right now. Iv been trying to wear it down more often but I feel the need to style it when it’s down and I’m just lazy 😂

@@simplybrislife8602 yeah it has grown really fast lol I’m glad your continuing to let it grow out again! I’m sure it’s a lot of maintenance when it’s down but it sure is pretty! I honestly think short hair is more maintenance especially since you can’t put it in a ponytail when it’s short

By summer of 2026 you might be able to do another big chop✂️ I honestly think you should grow it out longer than last time and keep it long for a while and then cut it shorter!! Awe thank you so much!! I initially started donating my hair after my dad got cancer and lost his hair. I could see that it was a tough transition for him and I could only imagine what that experience would be like for someone whose identity felt tied to their long hair. I started donating in 2018 when I graduated high school and donated again, 4 years later, after graduating from college. Now it feels like a tradition to donate my hair after big milestones lol. I feel like my hair isn’t really short anymore, it’s somewhere in the middle, but I’m excited to have it a bit longer again! Who knows I may chop it off all over again once it gets long enough haha

Haha of course! I love meeting new people. In 2018 I think I donated about 9-10 inches and when I did it 2 years ago I cut over 15”. I’m not sure when I will donate next tho because I kind of want to do some crazy stuff to it (crazy for me lol). I’m thinking about dying it and getting a bunch of layering but I’m not sure. I won’t lie it was pretty difficult but to be fair I was also pretty sick going up. It was really steep in some areas. We had to use proper hiking sticks
