Russell was hilarious in this movie! It’s such a funny movie of moving on and then taking “revenge” on a terrible ex.

I use these quotes to this day "take my eyes, but not the shirt" "you're gonna have to walk away, bless you" and finally "I was gonna do xyz, but then I just carried on living my life." 🤣🤣 This movie is one of my faves.

Apparently the movie they were talking about was about Pulse. (Semi-joking but another TH-camr took me to this clip with that reference.)

I think this movie saved me from complete madness. It made me laugh about a breakup I'd had just before it was released and put everything in perspective. Really helped.

such a funny movie. When it first came out I was in high school and I remember everyone was talking about all the sex in it. Watching it as an adult I was so impressed by the subtleties of the acting and script to deliver something that I find such a powerful commentary on specific relationship dynamics that happen very often. This scene specifically is coming on the heels of Sarah realizing Aldous is actually a shallow douchebag and starting to pine for what she used to have with Peter. Peter is not interested in getting back together with her anymore but because he has finally let go he becomes more attractive to her again..
