‘I clean them up with a tennis racket’ 🤣
Brilliant
Second watch. a bit pissed. i think i will watch it again
Hysterical. 2 geniuses
One of my favourite autobiography books is 'Aaaaand away'
Thank you so much for this brilliant episode!! 😊😂❤ "The Eggs" is perfect since Hitchcock had an aversion to them😂
Thanks from Hanks
Buttery Clive
How does this have under 5000 views
Is that Clinton Babtiste's 'Linda Pollock' in the studio with Iain Lee? Sounds like her.
Life sucks shit and then you fckn die.
Wig Wam & Co hahaha
What year was this recorded in, does anyone know?
Thank you for dropping this onto TH-cam. I think Miles is the best host ever, I used to like Sandi, but miles is just so funny and intelligent. So humble and ready to let others have the laugh. I wish he would take over as host of HIGNFY. Once again thanks 👍😊
I would go back to the Goons as alternative.
Humph : what a legend!
Strange to here him talk about wanting to open a chocolate shop and now he's been the chocolatier in wonka
This is the great thing about Ian Lee - he never realises when he is being mocked. He steals jokes, he gets tricked and he never figures out why people think he's a fanny. Then if he feels insulted he says he has mental health issues. Good guy Ian Lee.
He did know. On the webcam footage he’s crying laughing…
This is a really interesting conversation. I think. I didnt actually understand a single word they said
BONA!!!!
Wonderful listening to this in 2024 😀
Classic.. tv sitcom please
Thank you 😂😂😂
Mark Steel never fails to make me howl with laughter no matter how many times I've heard what hes saying
Sunday roast and this😊
Was Jimmy Carr at the recording? 6:36
SUGAR IS NOT A DRUG, IT IS A TYPE OF CARBOHYDRATE, SELF CONTROL IS THE KEY TO AVOIDING OBESITY NOT TAXES, BLOODY FUN POLICE
Amazing, I'd forgotten all about this series. Originally went out in 2009.
What a time capsule.
06:10
Chain reaction off the BBC?
You know Saylor was saying 3 years ago how BTC does a 3x every year, now he changed to 40 percent per year... quite a big drop...
Don't show the thumbnail to your kids. They'll never sleep again.
English control freaks, the whole country is so up tight about EVERYTHING, so pathetic, small minded, fascinating listening, these people live in sad terror of each other, trying to make the best of hopelessness, very entertaining
sugar is not a drug it is a type of carbohydrate taxing it is human rights infringement England are a gullible society of mean spirited misers, being talked into a sugar tax, what a bunch of misery mongers
she's great!
Graeme 😂 17:48 😂😂😂😂 19:27 Rob 😂😂😂
25:49 makes my soul hurt, how naive we were
Two of my all time favorites. I used to watch tv burp religiously when I was in high-school. I didn’t get the chance to see either of them live until (relatively)recently. There’s so much thought and care put into their shows. They’re masters of their craft.
Bob is great and very funny. But Reece is my favourite comedian
Graeme Garden... scarily good at the swanee.. 😊❤😂
22:30 is so sad now it was never meant to be 😢
My sisters and I used to love this while eating our Sunday Dinner. We were very young and knew nothing about the innuendo, we just laughed ay the funny voices. Mum and Dad used to snigger all through it, obviously knowing what was 'going on' ! Oh how innocent we were.
Lord Boothby 😅
Great listening 👍
He spoke there about Scottish middle classes hating Scottish culture, but then seems to be into different culture's, I wonder about his take today on mass migration. It’s similar in Ireland, I’m from the north side of Dublin, but the posh areas, especially in the south side of Dublin, they’re like that, playing cricket and rugby and just no essence of the country you’re living in, but this is where some of our politicians come from, and the real threat, in my take, are the universities they’re going to, they’re making these idiots, who don’t give a damn about the countries they’re in. And so along come the migrants, and the people who speak up are labelled far right. I think today, Catholics and Protestants should unite, because we’re really the same, not to look down on people of colour, but to stand up to mass migration and the insanity.
Thanks for that...an absolute joy from start to finish. Lovely.
I never thought that a replacement could be found for Humph, but ‘jolly’ Jack Dee has a level of sarcasm which equates with his predecessor. Well done the producers! Jack … despite the accolades, you’re still a bit of shite.😎😎😎
It's not just the humour, it's the deadpan delivery. He's not the same as Humph, but he's got a lot of his spirit.
Listened to this show every Sunday. Loved it then and love it now!
Similarly, I queued up in the London Virgin Megastore (I think it was.... could have been HMV, I need to check the photos...) to meet Reece and the rest of League of Gentlemen when the movie came out. I'm glad he was a fanboy once, too.
