36% of our country’s voting-eligible population, did not vote in the 2024 general election.
Hi. *waves* Do any of you care to know WHY, or would you like to just keep villanizing people you don't understand because it's easier?
They abstain from voting as a protest, and yet, that is exactly what a Dictator wants: People not to vote anylonger, so he can forever ignore his protests.
We know why . Would you like to keep on pretending your choice is okay because you don’t believe whatever evidence , proof , facts or truths you choose not to believe because it wrecks your point of view ?
Uncle doing it right
Riveting. Blood Curdling. Sick honest truth. How did we get here? How do we get from HERE back to consiousness? How do we get our conscience back?
By you not talking to your neighbours about politics
@@basengelblik5199This. Thank you.
Conservatism is the Gateway Drug to Fascism.
I probably should have predicted from the title that the opening words would be "The Nazis". Cringe, yall. Maybe if you freshen your metaphors, it might help freshen your perspective, too. Partisan political poetry is an oxymoron. - a poet
Drump does keep a copy of Mien Kampf on his nightstand... I don't think he reads it anymore, he took the lessons to heart. Twitter has become his own personal Mien Kampf: a steady stream of grievances from an over privelaged twat that has been giving everything and still has to cry about it.
Imagine hearing only the opening 2 words “the Nazis” and deciding a poem isn’t for you lol pretty telling
Imagine mistaking a political echo chamber for art. Empathy is a critical tool for artists. Not seeing much of that here.
You’re absolutely right! We definitely need empathize with Nazi enablers. They probably have some great insights for our political discourse.
@@marjoriesteele9532 Art is suppose to echo reality. Empathy? Empathy for a 34 Felony Convict, Convicted Rapist, Convicted Slanderer, Seditious Conspirator, a man who owes 1/2 a billion dollars, just for breaking the law. Things that can not be divested from! Making him highly susceptible to blackmail or just plain corruption! Filling his Cabinet with Billionaires who know nothing nor do they care to know, what the average American needs. 🍊💩🤡

Awful from the camera to the delivery
Great camwork!

Ok the cream sauce got me
Hey there! Well done, sounds like you really meant what you read and the theme of blue throughout the poem was lovely. For reading out loud, I'd like to make a few suggestions: first, slow down. I know there's a rhythm to it, but the rhythm can be expressed in a slower tempo. I'd recommend finding a metronome or music that you can time yourself against. I'm asking you to slow down bc it is hard for me to make out some of your schemes when you run words together, and I think they're worth hearing. Second, talk your poem out conversationally and record it. What ideas would be important if it didn't have to rhyme? How much can you convince your audience that you do have this hope? There is an element of stage performance with slam poetry. Watch videos of actors reading letters or books excerpts. Finally, if you want to really evolve your delivery, memorize the poem. It will get your eyes up and mouth on the mic. You can play with it more when you know what's coming. Set ups can have punchlines in a sense, funny/dramatic/sad/ironic. You've written your words, but finding your true voice will take time. Good luck to you, I hope you continue doing this.
I talk too much 🤯
No you don't! Not at all! I do miss hearing your voice, though!
