Rectifier an stator u change at same time cant do one without the other...first year is always tricky my 04 cbr1000rr has the bug with stator an rectifier but i love that bike
Thank you for the information i wasnt too sure about that. this was my first time changing the stator on any bike.
You sound really nervous on that thing, you sure you have enough experience to be riding that yet respectfully?
I thought the same thing.. his voice, his breathing, his physical actions.. it's all jittery and jerky. Then the comedic voice crack when it stalled SCREAMS "I'm a nervous wreck". If you aren't 100% comfortable riding it, DONT. it's not worth you and/or someone else's lives.

Great that you will get to ride this bike.
I'm riding a 2000 with 199,187 miles on it( original engine burned an exhaust valve at 194,007 miles 😢--- complete rebuild). Best bike I've owned---
One of the best bikes made. That first engine lasted a really long time though.

J'ai une gen 1 de 1999 qui totalise 37000kms je roule en Hayabusa depuis 2003, j'en ai eu 3 dont une gen 3 de 2022 que j'ai revendu au bout de 3 mois trop lourde à l'arrêt, trop d'électronique a mon gout, par contre le feinage au top. Je garde ma 99 que j'adore. Salutations motardes Busa31 France
I have a 1st generation and a 3rd generation. Very different natures. 1st generation is aggressive, you give 40,60 or 80% throttle your getting it NOW! Generation 3, it gives you it smoothly and with all the nannies it can be a let down. But the brakes tits (really nice).
Boy those silver accents sure are nice. 2nd gen rider here. 2014 50th anniversary edition. Stay safe out there.
