Sorry i forgot the name, i booked camping in Shivpuri near Rishikesh and they includes rafting. You can book directly online or near Lakshman Jhoola.

There are multiple options there, you can search online and book directly. Or if you are planning to stay in camps or hotels, they all provide rafting option directly and provide you pick and drop. Just don’t plan in rainy season:) Plan rafting in April or May.

They charged 1500 per person for 35 kms rafting.. we were group of 8. 4 of us don't want to cross wall pass so they crossed by river side. Yes, you need to pay for vacant seats it you want yo book for 4 only otherwise they add someone else by own.

Bro i am from delhi approximately done rafting 7-8 time. Last 8-10 days before I with my 3 friends left the boat for continues 4 rapid approx for 20 min we were away from the boat was outstanding experience club house was outstanding without raft we were approx 100 mtrs away it was real thril...

I’m glad i did in winter, coz i landed ass first in water and quickly got swept away from the raft. I was finally pulled up after the rapid ended. The funny thing is I didn’t even know river rafting was an adventure sport. I went into it thinking it’s a leisure activity. I’m glad I didn’t lookup videos ahead of time 🤣🤣 I definitely didn’t panic in the water

Today same thing happened with me in golf course rapid..I was under the raft for 20-25 sec..i was trying to find the edge of raft underneath the water so i could hold the rope..once i thought this is my last day on earth.

@@traveladventurefun4128 yes, i done it only once though went on rafting more than 50 times. Done it in almost weather except monsoon when it use to get closed. Those days there were no water proof cameras atleast commonly available in India. No water proof phones therefore everything use to go in dry bag carried in raft. I use to usually start 2 3 km before byasi. Have not gone back since long so will sure visit once more. Thanks for uploading this video.

It depends on bargaining but usually they charge 1500-2000 for 8 person boat, all can devide that amount.. so around 200 per person.

Hey @Michael, this is class 3 rapid and big raft is not must for this rapid. But this is most commonly used raft in Rishikesh for group of people with a guide. You can raft in any other type of boat, if you want. 🙂

In Rishikesh, raft booking is per person basis, if you have a group of 4, they'll add 4 more or you need to pay double :)

I don't remember details now. There are lots of options you can find easily online or directly at Lakshman Jhula. And you don't need rafting experience for 35 kms, just listen to your guide and follow safety measures. Your guide'll teach you before starting your adventure.

Only difference is, highly experienced people don't need guide 🙂

It depends on total kms. There are multiple options like 12, 18, 26, 35. Rafting starts from 500 per person for 12 kms and around 1500 per person for 35 kms.

I think not like that. Boat was Ulta and usually do not happens in this Rapid (golf course rapid). And also water is Little rose. There was no other raft's nearby. If accident happens it may difficult to control situation with a single hand..
