From this end. Tank looks great. Keep it up! This is just part of the process to thriving 🔥🙌👏💪💯
@@queencityreefs 🙌🏼 perfectly said gotta trust the process
The tank is looking good bro. What are you running for filtration?
Thanks Mike, used to run socks hated that so now just have cups with the filter floss essentially. Not utilizing skimmer atm
@@BryznsReef wow. Thats interesting! How are you keeping cal/alk stable?
@@MikeLemming I dose AF’s component 123 for the alk cal mag components. Looking to try kalk in my next tank in the future heard great benefits from that
That's definitely a torch spawn. Looked just like the one I had a while back when I first found it!
Glad to hear that! Did you end up finding a lot or just one? Ive been trying to look but havent seen any other spawns
@@BryznsReef I only found one
Good to hear from you, I think it looks like a hammer. Have a good trip, looking forward to seeing you again in a month or so.
Hey Spanky thanks for checking in glad to see you around still!
Only thing that worked for my red bubble. Didn't kill any of my sps. 2 years after discontinuing and tank still looks great.
@@nicksteeb glad to hear it went well for you, I ended up getting some bubble algae again but unfortunately have Dino’s so I’d rather have the little eyesores compete with the Dino’s haha
Same for me. Been using last 6 months “for a clean tank” dose. Acros are fine, bubble algae slowly going away. Got another bottle day I heard about ban
Didnt know there was a ban, glad to hear your corals are doing well!
Heavy in heavy out. Phos between 0.03 to 1.0. Nitrates 2.5 to 10 See what your tank likes and try to stay there. No algae present is a good thing.
Hey @Icj2046 thanks for the input I am barely settling at the bottom of that range now, corals much happier but starting to see some algae growth
@@BryznsReef do a water change vacuum your sand bed start doing 10 % water change. But also fed raise phos to 0.05 and 5 nitrates. That’s were my tank likes no algae at all. Barely cleaning the glass. However that might work for you. You can try it.
@@lcj2046 Yes def in the experimental phase im scared to stir up the whole sandbed but I do shuffle the top a bit
Fitting description, Push and Pull is correct with the hobby. Always learning. What is the nice coral at 6:34?
Hey Friend that is the best way I can sum it all up, the coral youre asking about is the ORA pearlberry!
Have you tried to do AquaBiomics test? Pricey but I was having the same problem and found out it was bacterial and had to treat the tank with antibiotics. Also not sure if you mentioned but another dip for corals when you can’t pinpoint a pest causing problems would be iodine. Of course with any info do your research. 😊
Hey @caitlincurrey188 thanks for the suggestion! I have heard of the aquabiomics but havent done one myself. Ive been looking into iodine dips into a while any recs? Could help when fragging stuff too
Chimiclean broth...
Might have to give that a try what are your experiences? Scared of a nuke haha
@@BryznsReefjust dose bacteria man, it’ll take time for cyano to go away. Work on nutrients etc. from what my friends have told me, chemiclean might cause Dino’s after during to bottoming nutrients
Check out KFC dip by Kung Fu corals for your torches.
Thank you for the suggestion I will look into it
wow is that a iphone camera you used to record the timeline for the clownfish eggs
Thanks Mr Anthony Bui but this is not an iPhone 16 ad... 🤣
would you ever run your own aquarium
@@anthonybui9353 yes Mr Anthony Bui 9353 I may run two of them

When is the 50% sale?
@@timjohnson3913 hey Tim the sale was a one day a few hours thing, the next one would be next year from my understanding Update: I think he is running a 33% off right now
@@BryznsReef Thanks! I was hoping it was some kind of annual sale. How did you find out about the 50% sale?
@@timjohnson3913 was browsing on reef2reef he had a unique title for the thread something along the lines of “the worst sale…” turns out to be the best one Ive ever seen haha
Those look nice, and I’m assuming the colors are toned down from stress right now. I’ll have to get some stuff from Adam.
@@CoralReefkid yes those were just coming in from shipping so I bet the colors aren’t at its full potential but still impressive !

Can you use tap water for saltwater aquariums
@@Jack1235-j7i no I would not recommend tap water, look into RODI filters!
Bryan’s reef do you use tap water for saltwater aquarium and I recommend to use it
@@Jack1235-j7i hey I do not use tap water and would not recommend, get an RODI filter does wonders!
I believe those are Acoel Flatworms. Harmless in low numbers but do multiply rather quickly and can suffocate corals. I had them too and eradicated them with wrasses.
@@queencityreefs thanks for the comment, I was also leaning towards those instead of the EEFWs. I have noticed them in my sump might pickup a sixline
It’s low nutrients equals bad extension also lower nutrients: lower par. Higher nutrients equals higher par
@@moereefer Yup exactly I remember listening to a reef therapy episode about that. I lowered my par a few months ago when I saw one of acros looking a bit more pale instead of browning
Hey everyone my good friend Vince asked me a question about the bio media, the one I was using are the marine pure bio cubes. While these were my own findings, I would recommend others to look into their bio media. I feel like bio media is to help the I trial start up and cycle of a tank and for those with established tanks you will probably do fine without them.
I use seachem media also I put in bag because they so porous they float
@@moereefer I don’t have experience with that one but seems like it’s working well for you
Also consider dosing Dr. Tim’s waste-away or Microbacter clean which will consume accumulating organic waste that phosphate binds to, serving as food source for algae. Hobbyist test kits are unable to test for organic forms of phosphate, providing a false sense of security when phosphate levels appear to be within normal parameters. However, you will need a skimmer to remove these bacteria from the water column.
@@alexander-r5y2f hey thanks for the comment, so it’s been a while since I posted this video BA died down due to some pitho crabs but had a dino outbreak (controlled with UV) into a cyano outbreak because there isn’t anything competing with it. I started to up my P/N because I have a low nutrient system but haven’t thought about dosing some bacteria. I may give it a try
Dem ia be hitting lo :)
I battled dinos for like 6 months. Spending HOURS each weekend pulling huge matted clumps of the stuff off. Threw a 50w green machine (underpowered for a 60g and not proper inline UV) dinos were gone in a few weeks.
@@fishnewhere387 yes! The Dino’s cover your corals and rock at an insane amount I would blow it off of rocks and the back of my tank only for them to come back hours later. UV was a game changer
Great to see your vids tonight. You're a bright spot on a dark day.
@@spankystl thanks for coming by glad to help out thanks for the comment spanky 😌
I think the micromusa's polyps are small bc of the clown goby
@@TheMushroomTech I used to have a YCG that destroyed my acans but the one I have in this tank seems to leave my acans/blastos alone I have moved the micromusa to my larger tank to see if the polyps will become larger
Wow very happy that you were able to catch that hermit crab spawning!
felt like a once in a lifetime kinda thing
Bryan ….! Man I stopped using Salifert to test for alk and cal, Only for magnesium bc you can’t really OD meg. Hope you get the tank back to normal and man…… that yellow tang is looking amazing bro. Keep pumping out them vds !!

It's a carcinogen. It's like cancer in a bottle. Highly effective algaecide. Its pure toxic
Bro!!!! You have corals... It's bad enough that you are using this and worse that you are using the wrong product, You have to use the one for reef aquariums, not saltwater aquariums.
@@vincentlong6254 hey Vincent thanks for the reply, yes I knew the risk associated with vibrant and advised others to do their own research and not promoting others to use it, I dosed it for about a month or two (below recommended dosage) with some minimal effect on my corals it did help with bubble algae but didn’t eradicate it completely
pithos crabs are awesome
do you have them too? interested to see what your experiences are
first!
You are indeed first jinkim 😎
If that magnetic rock in the back is a reefing art one, be careful. Mine peeled where the magnets are and rusted over time which caused big issues in my tank. So just keep an eye on it. Good luck. Could just have been a faulty one.
Hey Dennis thanks for the heads up this is indeed the same rock, I will keep a close eye when doing maintenance thanks
nice hammers
Thanks I’ve been trying to collect the different colors
I'm thinking about getting a small AIO. What brand was your 20 gallon, and did you like it? Have any issues with it?
@spankystl sorry I JUST saw this comment in the past I had an IM 20 nuvo loved the tank, didnt have any issues with it. The only recommendation is not running filter socks! and ATO is your best friend
Tank is filling in nicely Bryan ! Always love watching your vds. Keep it up !
Thanks for the words brother appreciate ya 😌
Forgot to include the coral count, but without the random frags I have 60 different corals currently in the tank
Hey, will it kill macro algae in my refugium?
Hey Kalan, yes this will for sure kill macro algae’s as vibrant is an algacide

What’s up brother! Don’t worry be patient when it comes to those mine games just saw your tank for the first time looks great!
Did you dose it at the 1ml per 10gallon weekly or 1ml to 10 gallons every 2 weeks suggested?
Hey Blaze I may be reading this wrong but I believe 1:10 and 2:20 are the same ratio, but initially I started less than the recommended and worked up to dosing more often
@@BryznsReef i just went straight in with 1ml per 10gallons and going to dose it weekly ..my bubble algae is out of control...its been say 14hr since 1st dose and a bunch of them are surprisingly already grey colour so hopefully it gets rid of them all over space of a month or so dosing
@@BlazedReefer Wish you luck with yours, I got mine to a point of it not being so invasive and out of control but never gone
@@BryznsReef have you tried double dose? Ive read its just as safe/risky as single dosing, and is recommended for hair or bubble
@@BlazedReefer I would advise against doubling the dosage, even though you may not see the effects in a week or two you might have bad problems in the future
No Yellow Tangs in Indai😢
I'm gonna try Vibrant. I've heard it works for turf algae. CUC just can't keep up. I think the people who have had issues with Vibrant in the past dosed the fish only version. It'll either go really well or really bad. Plus I have a buddy that is will to restock the tank with SPS should anything not make it.
Hey Matt thanks for your response, I did dose this with that risk of losing all my SPS luckily the only effect I’ve seen is browning out, but I cannot pin it only on vibrant since there has been very subtle changes ive made on the tank.
@@BryznsReef I'd pin your browning out more on changing lights and flow.
@@MattQ1987 the only time I had a problem in the past,, was when I thought it was bacteria and double dosed it. I stopped using 2 yrs ago when it came out that is an algacide if some sort. Now years later, I have a frag tank and bubble algae. 6 months ago I started the dose for “A clean tank” and slowly the bubble algae is going away. Take it slow,, I have homewreaker and other Acros and they do not seem to care.
