    hi, i ask info about smith machine: it work good? parallel? and is possible to use weight plates with 2,5cm hole? thanks

      It worked really well, it was very smooth! It is a standard vertical smith machine. Nope the sleeves are designed for Olympic plates. Hope this helps 😊

    Received my force USA f50. Top quality on everything however my guide rods don’t line up either. Essentially can’t use the pulley on the cables, it gets stuck, jams and won’t touch the bottom. Going to go through warranty. Anyone know what the fix is?

    Hi Kelsey, thanks a lot for making this video. I have now purchased the same. I had a guy come in to put it together. We have a problem, the pulley system isn't working. It feels like it's jammed, can you please ask your partner and think of what may have been wrong? Cheers

  • @LeviJay

    Thank you for the video 😊 I just bought one, had missing parts which came today..a week later. I have one question - how did you connect the barbell rod to the pulleys? The screws it shows are too small and I don't see how anything can screw in there??

    • @tamarrapeters9448
      @tamarrapeters9448 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@paulkhurana5449 it may be the pulley system that is faulty, measure the distance between the top two outlets and the two bottom, ours ended up being further apart at the bottom so it pushed the poles out of the bracket. We just filled out a warranty form and they just needed to replace it.

      @@tamarrapeters9448 thank you so much, thi is what the guy who put it together was thinking that it may be the bars not being straight. • @tamarrapeters9448
      @tamarrapeters9448 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@paulkhurana5449 we first thought that it was the poles but it turned out to be the pulley itself item number 25. We put it together ourselves so once we filled the form they replied the next day and then ordered our replacements which came a few days later.

    Good to see some specs of this Surely you would have gotten the F50 chart replaced under warranty with the holes being so mismatched? Like your attachments may have fallen off if you did screw it down. But anyways, as a big guy I do like the increased working depth and height of the smith that this unit offers which absolutely towels up most if not all of the G Series line, while shorter lifters could easily use the smith to OHP, also the plate horns for the functional trainer look pretty premium and substantially larger compared to the G3, so should be able to take a lot more weight comfortably. The only downside I can see is the free weight rack being so wide and not compatible with most regular sized olympic bars as there's not enough length on a regular bar to rack on/off, hence why they throw in the complimentary barbell. I guess if I leant that way over say a G3 or G9 then that problem would be easily fixed with a pair of squat stands to move around though, particularly when using specialty barbells like SSBs/Swiss bars (considering getting some stands anyway to be able to overhead press outside as my garage ceiling height is around 240cm) Thanks for the video, definitely looks like a well priced, well made unit, could be a much better fit for a big guy like myself than say a G3.

    Great video! Im considering the F100 or the F50. But im not sure yet. Did you by chance have a look at the F100? What drew you to purchase the F50? Ty!!

    • @kelseydelvers
      @kelseydelvers 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are pretty much the same, the reason we got the F50 was because it is plate loaded and we already had plates so there wasn’t point in us spending more for a weight stack! The F100 is more expensive so that was the deciding factor :)

We have land and just want to purchase a flat pack house to put on but have no idea where to start. Was a fire place an option to install? How much was the actual overall price?

      We purchased land then went through the Bunnings process. Was a bit of a hassle. Sometimes what seems the easiest option isn’t always the best. Cost will change depending on location and access to services.

    I got the monster g6. There was a few quality control issues on mine as well. On a side note using oil will gunk up and attracts dirt. Silicone spray is what commercial gyms use for bushing and smith systems.

    How does this compare to the G12 which I am looking to buy?

    • @kelseydelvers
      @kelseydelvers 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they fit in to two different categories. Seeing as the G12 has the weight stack it is a more full rounded system which makes it more comparable to the F100 rather than the F50 which could be well worth a look. Hope that helps and Merry Christmas!

      @@kelseydelvers I'll ask some so 😉 things that we can't really see on the promotional videos does it feel wide enough in the interior to use the smith machine and the double pulley for chest fly ? Does the machine swing when doing cable exercices, putting heavy one one side and nothing on the other side ?

    • @kelseydelvers
      @kelseydelvers 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As an all in one machine it does feel wide enough and is wider then any other machines that we have looked at. The interior is about 120cm wide, which we feel is ample to use the smith machine. As far as the weight distribution on either side, we tried it with 45kg on one side and nothing on the other, it worked fine but is slightly smoother when evened out.
